I'll still check 'em out, and I'll let Carol know about them because she's always hungry for new stuff. I'm reading Carrie Fisher's latest book, Wishful Drinking right now. It's wildly entertaining. Maybe I'll just stick with that for lunchtime reading.

Most seem to be written around the time Joan was in the hospital with Lyme disease, so there is a bit of a depressing element to it. I haven't read them all from front to cover yet, but I also recall one where Joan waits for Adam that, now that you mention it, was very McPunisher. I wish the woman had put an Author's Note with them because for some it's a little hard to place when they're taking place, which makes it hard to figure out what's going on.

Guess you'll just have to see for yourself if they're your cup of tea.

Kinda sounds like she just (re)discovered the show and started writing. Or she wrote them back when the show first aired and only posted them now. I need to take some time to leave well deserved reviews later.

My favorite episode so far is "Believe". Man, I have such a soft spot for the wounded heroes.

I haven't watched much of Flash Forward yet but it seems to be a cool show. I think I'll watch some of the episodes I still have left tonight.

I'm really the odd one out with regard to new shows this season, huh? I love Trauma and I love FlashForward. In fact, I've seen all the aired episodes twice now. While I love the character-based stuff, I think they realized with FF that the story was moving along a little too slowly, so in the last episode (that aired before Christmas), they really picked up the pace. Can't wait to see what happens, but I think the next episode only airs in March.

And you're right, Deb, in the Butterflies Joaniverse, Adam and Joan aren't together yet. So maybe they'd be getting nookie with someone else?

Heh. Yeah, I bailed on it too after about 6 eps of it just treading water. Not even Dom Monoghan could save it for me. And I can't even get past the IDEA of Chuckie's fic.

And I couldn't get past the first sentence in Chuckie's story. I only saw one episode of FlashForward, and I couldn't keep up with it so... :clueless:

So, what would Adam and Joan be doing on April 29, 2010 at 1 AM EST? It would be such a boring story. I mean, duh. It's a weekday. They'd be sleeping. And I don't mean intercourse.

Yeah, good concept, but it's CHUCKIE. If anyone else was writing it, say YOU, I might be interested. I'm sure he'll treat Adam like crap and make Joan a complete puritan.
