I know, but it's not showing near here, so I am going to wait for the DVD now. I know, I should see this on big screen, bu that's just not possible. But hey, maybe I can visit my Irish host parents soon, they have a beamer in their livingroom!

I watched this in the theater today. Stunning pictures. It's a feature length version of the BBC documentary "Planet Earth", and it's captivating to see these images on the big screen. I don't think it has been released in the US yet (not sure if it will), but if you get a chance to see it, I can very much recommend it. Watch the trailer and the making of on the website, you'll get a glimpse of what it's like. And if you watch it in English, you'll even get Patrick Stewart's voice (we had some German dude I didn't know).
