Probably means they failed to get it off the ground. Otherwise, it would be listed as "filming" or "in production", not "in development".

What else he [Ryan Eggold] does besides acting:
- Working on a comedy feature, Lunchers, he co-wrote with Adam Rose about two dudes who love to lunch and have unrealistic views of themselves. Aiming for a two-week shoot during his hiatus in March.

Someone involved has to make those changes, so Ryan probably did it himself. And that probably explains the new "In Development" credit on Chris's page too. Damn, I was hoping it might be the TV show. Oh well. Thanks for researching that, Illinois.

I just did a google news search and found an interview with Ryan Eggold that was posted on 3/17/2009.

iF: What else are you working on?
EGGOLD: I worked on UNITED STATES OF TARA, with Toni Collete. I played a guy who Toni Collete's daughter had a little rendezvous with and he's a total doofus. I have a big old hairdo. I'm also shooting this film that I wrote with a friend of mine called LUNCHERS in the spring, which will be great because I plan on writing a lot of stuff. I'd like to take that direction eventually, so this is the first time that I'm shooting something that I've written.

Plus if you went to the Lunchers IMDB page itself nothing comes up except for the following message.
"More information for this In Development project is only available on IMDbPro."

I don't really know how IMDB does things, but perhaps when a film can only be seen via IMDBPro that the film also disappears from all cast/crew that is attached to it as well. That could explain why it's gone from at least 2 peoples filmographies all of a sudden.

Lunchers sounded like an interesting movie and I bet it could've really given Chris more recognition. Too bad it's not going to be made anymore.

This movie has dropped off Chris's credit list on IMDb. Not sure what that means, but it probably fell through. Bummer. Sounded like fun.

No, I didn't know that. That'd be cool!

(And I just realized that I've seen a lot of the movies she did when she was a kid.)
Nights in Rodanthe is on the Coming Soon schedule of the theatre here (the one that has the original versions), I'll make sure to see it, too.

Did you see that, according to IMDb, Mae Whitman is also rumored to be in this one? I didn't know she was in Nights in Rodanthe either (which I'll hopefully see in the theater tomorrow).
