I had a thought that maybe he started smoking because of some role. That he had to smoke for a role and had to learn to do it without coughing. And got hooked. He seems like a guy that wouldn't do it out of peer pressure.
Or maybe i'm just thinking about my little brother. He went thru teens without starting to smoke and then he moved and went to work and I quess he started smoking because that's what everybody else was doing on brakes. He found his girlfriend in that work place.. And boys seem to do just about anything to get the girl when they have a crush. I wonder if that's the case with Chris. .. Oh sh.. I'm yabbering again.. sorry. tell you way too much stuff... have to delete like half a post everytime I write something.

He smokes lights. And no, he never smoked at the FX show either, even though others did (I'm looking you, Kristen Bell).

He had a packet of filter cigarettes with him when we met him this month. He isn't a chain smoker or anything. We were with him for three hours and he had one cigarette after lunch in all that time (and he did ask if we'd mind). When Deb and I met him at the set of Revenge of the Nerds in 2006, he didn't smoke at all. I don't think Deb saw him smoking at the FX Show in 2007 either. Sounds like like my dad, who would go without smoking for a period of time and then, for some reason (stress, peer pressure, etc.) would start smoking again.

I've seen him in a few pictures behind the scenes of movies where he is smoking and/or has a cigarette behind his ear, so I was wondering if he really smokes? If so, what kind?
