Somehow I saw Anne's post saying she hadn't heard of him and translated it as you saying you didn't know him. I seem to be having a problem attributing quotes the last couple of days. Guess that comes with having entirely too much on my mind. Sorry about that. See? I KNEW you'd know him. Doh!

I have heard of Jamie Bell. He's a fantastic British actor. I never said i hadn't heard of him.

Billy Elliot is another movie I've always wanted to see. But with my paranoia of the German dubbing, I have to make a conscious effort to either buy the DVD or ask around if anyone has it. I don't have the luxury of just switching on the TV and catch tons of movies on cable every night. I really should move to a place where they don't dub.

When you see Billy Elliot, you will not forget Jamie Bell. It's his movie. And it's a star-making performance. It put him on the map.

He's also great in Undertow --- a very depression movie with fantastic performances.

Uhm ... I planned to see Billy Elliot for a long time, but I just haven't found the time to do so yet. I wanted to see the movie but I never really cared about the actors that are in it, sorry.

Oh yeah, the Brideshead movie, that was probably it. I saw the trailer a few times in the theater recently. Thanks for the hint, Carol. (I'm not interested in the Brideshead movie itself, though. Just not my kind of thing.) I didn't know Ben was in I'm Not There...

Ben Whishaw was one of the Bob Dylans in "I'm Not There". He's about to play the Anthony Andrews part in "Brideshead RE-Revisited".

Ben Wishaw played the lead in the movie Perfume - Story of a Murderer. I think he's in one of the more high profile movies coming up, but I can't recall which one (and I'm too lazy to look it up now ). Never heard of Jamie Bell, Jim Sturgess or Gaspard Ulliel either, but then again in Germany we don't always hear all the latest American media and entertainment gossip. I'm sure they're all in something that hasn't made its way over to Germany yet.
