So, uh, I guess I will eventually have to see the Footloose remake. Though I'll probably wait till second run. It was shot at MY HIGH SCHOOL! I had no idea. Dave saw it on the local news. They said a lot of Osborne High alumni appear as extras in it. Dangit! Wish I'd known.

Theres a sequel to Dark Knight already too.
Im not interested though without Heath Ledger the movie.

I've been an Apeophile since childhood. And Conquest of The Planet of The Apes is my favorite of the original films. This movie is essentially a re-imagining of that one, so that's why I'm so interested. It's very, very different. And I like that. It also looks like it's going to (mercifully) erase the rather wretched Tim Burton re-boot attempt from our tortured memories.

They showed a trailer when I watched Harry Potter 7.2 tonight. Can't say it really spoke to me. But then, I've not seen any of the previous Apes movies...

Hey, if we couldn't have Calvin Marshall, maybe Chris can go out for one of the new young leads in this. Charlie Sheen's such a train wreck, but it might be interesting to see an older Ricky "Wild Thing" Vaughn trying to mentor a new young ace pitcher.
