See i would have different opinions on the Star Wars prequels, but probably cause that's what i grew up with. Yes, i agree that they aren't exactly the most well made films, but they entertain me and i personally don't think Lucas should get as much hate as he does.

I would call myself a Star Wars fanboy, and like Kyle Newman once said, a fanboys is someone loves everything about that subject. Those who do not like the prequels are not true fanboys. A Star Wars fanboys is someone who likes anything about Star Wars, both the good and bad things. Same for Indy and other franchises. For me, i'm a fanboys of many franchises including, Star Wars, Indy, Bond and Doctor Who. I love the Trek movies but i wouldn't say i'm a Star Trek fanboy, as i have no intrest in watching Enterprise, Deep Space Nine or Voyager (if that's what they're called). And now i'm rambling.

Another little thing which i have to mention that really pisses me off is the amount of hatred George Lucas gets for Indy 4. All these problems people have with Indy 4 is apparently Lucas' fault. I find that amazing how he didn't write the screenplay or DIRECT it, yet it is till his fault. Never has been Spielberg's or Koepp's fault.

In my eyes though, they all did a fantastic job of bringing the man back.

I love all four films, but Temple of Doom is also my least favourite. I don't know why, i just didn't enjoy it as much as the other three films.

And yet people question the scene in Indy 4 with them going over three waterfalls.

What i can't understand is why people insist that Indy 4 is so unrealistic with alien creatures, yet in the first three films we had a box which made you melt, the possibility of pulling a heart out with the victim remaining alive and breathing, and a cup which gives you eternal life, and they still complain about inter-dimensional beings.

I think that the opening number (which I love) with Kate Capshaw & company doing "Anything Goes" kinda sets the stage for the outrageous antics that follow in "Temple of Doom".

I really didn't care for Indy IV. Maybe its because I'm an old guy now (damned near 50). I found the first three films far better, and think that "Temple of Doom" has always been unfairly maligned. I really like that one.

FINALLY!!!!

Not that they have mentioned that they are looking towards a fifth film, but that i have found someone else who liked the fourth film.

I loved the fourth one, and for me, was at the same quality than the first three films. I hope Indy V does happen. What about an Indy VI too? We could have a trilogy set in the 30's and a trilogy set in the 50's.
