46 F sounds like heaven to me. They've dialed back the scary predictions now. It's supposed to be 100 tomorrow, 97 on Friday, and 102 on Saturday. Feels like hell on earth.

oh screw you. it's a drafty and damp 46F/8C here and my bones are begging to be dipped in burning lava. we had a few good summer days already and now we've got our first heavy rain storm last night and today. I've got a cold. I'd love to trade places for a couple of days.

Our forecast says it's going to be 109 in Atlanta on Friday. I dread.

So, the lowest temp here in the next 10 days is 97. Today is 104 degrees. I miss London where it was 57 degrees, even with the rain.

You liked Stuttgart? Really? That's where I live! Well, not really "in" Stuttgart, but nearby. Kind of. And you are the first person to tell me you liked it. Most people tend to like Munich or Berlin. That's where all the fun happens. Stuttgart is boring.

I liked Stuttgart. Had family there I visited once. Beautiful country!

It will be our 20th day tomorrow of 100 degree temperature. Doing carpool duty outside today outside the school was a workout.

Me too! All 3 are appealing to me. I think Canada would have the best summers, although the winters would be hard for me to handle after living in Texas for so long! We had 4 snow days last year in a row, and there was only 2 inches of snow on the grounds around where I live!
