"Lucyfer" reminds me of the book "Falling Angel," kinda. I didn't realize who the character "Louis Cyphre" (played by DeNiro in the film version) was until the very end. I am not too swift at times.

Of course she was nicknamed Lucyfer by TWoP, which I always thought was both hilarious and appropriate. Actually, I always looked at her as a "temptation" for Will. I love Lilly and Helens discussion about "evil" as it related to Lucyfer.

She did play her really well and I agree that her character was meant to stir up the relationship between Will and Helen and break to try to break up the family a bit.

Nah, I don't think they had any "God" related plans for her. In my eyes, she was just a bad person. I never got the feeling that she was supposed to be an antagonist to Joan. From a writer's point of view, I think she was brought in to stir up the relationship between Will and Helen.

Was she supposed to be evil the same way that "Ryan Hunter" was, or was she just a bad person ?
