Yes, there is a short story collections that include Shawshank Redemption too called "Different Seasons" that has "The Body" in it...

I've been reading Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid chronicles. they're just way too awesome for me to go on and try explain them. check them out!

also, if you're into YA books, check out Beaituful creatures. they're making a movie of it right now. witches, small town life and big time love. the usual

I read him on and off - my brother was a huge fan and we have all of the 70s, 80s, 90s books in Hard back. I read Different Seasons ( a book of short stories) Desperaiton, Nevada, The Shining and now this one. The Shining has been my favorite so far. I have The Stand on my list, Misery, and Christine.... But too many to read and no time is my problem!

My mom owned all Stephen King books from start of career through Y2K era. And I own a lot of Stephen King even the newer work.

Okay, so I bought the two most random things at half price that made everyone laugh: Cujo and a tai chi video The tai chi video is actually great. I've been going through this afternoon slump where I crash for two hours and then of course have a hard time falling asleep. So just to set up the night - i journaled, then meditated, and still couldn't sleep so I tried the tai chi and made a not so smart choice of getting some tea and starting Cujo. A page in and I'm hooked. I like it already more than The Shining. I can tell I'll still be up all night. Not a smart choice at all! But highly recommend the book.

Watching True Blood is definitely better that reading the books, haha. But with Game of Thrones, both is awesome. I'm on the second book now and Season 2 is about to finish, so I'll have enough time to catch up until Season 3 starts. Already looking forward to that. Book 2 will be hard though, since there is not much Jaime there.

Yeah the series to watch is way better!! Go Bill! Nothing like seeing him on screen. Imagination isnt good enough.

Well, I guess Charlaine Harris's writing style and my taste just don't like each other. I tried reading the first book but I had to give up after not even two pages. And that never happened before.

Don't you just hate it when you come across an interesting looking book, read the back cover and flick through it a bit. you get excited to read it and then realise it's the 4th book of 6 book series and you can't find 1-3 anywhere? THAT is why I hate book series. I'd rather read one very thick one.

I dont see purpose of sequels. Book descriptions sound lame. Reviews are mainly bad.

I finished the Hunger games series today. Can't really say I'd recommend it to anyone. The first one had a lot of promise but then they just got worse and worse. I was left with the thought "why did I waste that time and money?"
