I'm kinda miffed because all my favorite new shows from last season were cancelled. Breaking In (again), Ringer, Awake, Unforgettable, Alcatraz (no surprise there, though) and A Gifted Man. And the new lineup for this year looks terrible. I think I'm going to be watching a lot less TV this year (which might not be such a bad thing).

Hey look, TeeJay, one of your fave guys & one of my fave guys mentioned in the same article about the same show...
Yes, I know. Look up two posts, I already posted about it: http://www.chris-marquette.com/forum/vi … 990#p67990

This is great news for both Deb and me: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-f … mes-327234
Deb ==> Scotty Grimes on Suits
Me ==> Peter Outerbridge on Suits
Yay!!!! Season 2 premieres June 14 on USA Network. It's one of the shows I'm watching anyway cause I like it a great deal. I hope season 2 is gonna be as good as season 1!
-TeeJay
Yep, just saw that too. LOL

Okay, apparently Chris inspired someone called I.E. Brooks for their upcoming "The Resistance" series as per this: http://iebrooks.tumblr.com/post/23291977654
I have tried to google who the freck I.E. Brooks or The Resistance is, but I've come up empty. Could be a TV show, could be a novel series, could be an indie web-film project, who knows? At any rate, it looks like he or she wants one of their characters to look like or be portrayed by Chris. \o/
-TeeJay
He doesn't look 19 anymore.
Oh come on, that's BS. They can do so much with make-up and wardrobe. Jason Behr was in his late 20's when they cast him for 16-year-old Max Evans. But, yeah, looks like they're revamping the whole thing. And who knows, maybe Chris isn't in it because he's gonna shoot something else at the same time. That'd be a nice "excuse". Fingers crossed.
-TeeJay
Okay, I think it looks like Kid Cannabis is being made after all, but without Chris: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118053676.html and http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-v … bis-321681

So Kyle said Chris personally told him it's his Twitter account. That's proof enough for me. Guess he was just trying to be witty with the nephew comment. I'm leaving the announcement on the front page, then.

Conversation today between me and my colleague re Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin:
Matthew 15:16
Yeah, it was rather anticlimatic. It is kind of like the "Alamo" in the states.
Tina 15:16
I'm tempted to quote Joan of Arcadia now.
"It's anticlimactic. Anticlimatic means you're against the weather."

The fact that I've tweeted him four times and he has not responded makes me a bit suspicious as well.
I wouldn't read too much into that. No offense, but he kinda strikes me as a guy who isn't into the whole up-and-close-and-personal-with-the-fans thing. He hasn't answered any of our recent e-mails. I have a feeling he wants to use Twitter more to share his own stuff rather than to communicate with others.
I wonder if I should take down the announcement on our front page that Chris is now officially on Twitter. I suppose we could also ask Kyle N. if he knows whether it's Chris's official Twitter since I know Kyle followed him and even tweeted about it.
-TeeJay
Can't you ask Amanda if it's really Chris?
-TeeJay
Is it wrong that I'm slightly amused Chris is only just getting the hang of Twitter? Cause he tweeted this today:
Fellow tweetering tweeterers.just saw you can write me.consider me a senior citizen with technology.happy bday Kelly.glad some saw awake..
Senior citizen with technology, eh? Sounds like my mom. (She called me yesterday and we spent an hour on the phone, me trying to explain to her how to do a channel frequency search on her digital TV receiver. Unsuccessfully. *sigh*)
But, well, I have to admit it took me a long time to "get" Twitter too. The whole hash tag thing eluded me until someone explained to me what it was. And I only started mentioning people with the @ sign quite recently too. And until last week, I didn't know what #FF meant either (it's "Follow Friday" where on Fridays people suggest to other people who is worth following -- we should do a couple of #FF tweets this Friday for Chris). So don't worry, Chris. You'll learn soon enough. We'll be patient until then.

Hi-res screencaps from Chris's guest spot on the NBC show Awake are now up in our gallery: http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … ?album=251
A video clip of his scenes from the episode is also up: http://www.chris-marquette.com/media/vi … e_1x09.wmv

Sometimes being a pack rat comes in handy. Here's a transcript of the episode that I pulled off the TwizTV website years ago: http://www.chris-marquette.com/stuff/Jo … ilence.htm
As for the real shooting script, I don't know if you can get that anywhere anymore. There used to be a script store when you could buy some JoA scripts, but I don't remember the name or the URL.
Good luck with your assignment!

I cut together his scenes in one video clip: Click here
I'll need more time for the hi-res screencaps, which won't happen before Sunday, possibly Tuesday. Stay tuned, people.
-TeeJay
Okay, so this is just the 480p version (which was the only one I had so far), but I grabbed two quick caps to show you. I'm working on the 720p version right now. I'll probably make more caps this weekend (or on Tuesday as it's a bank holiday). In the meantime, enjoy the loveliness.
And, yes, there is a green filter on these. For those who've never seen the show, it kinda runs in two parallel universes. Or dreams. Or timelines. Or whatever it is. And for one timeline they use a green camera filter (which is the one Chris is in) and for the other an orange/brown one. It's actually a neat device because then you can tell as a viewer where you are, in case you're not sure anymore. So don't get annoyed at the green tint. Not my fault, the show's set up that way.
Chris's character's name is Kenneth and I guess he's got the main guest spot in the "green" timeline. But don't get too excited, he doesn't have that much screen time. I think it was three or four scenes. But we do get to see some TDA! Yesss! And it was absolutely lovely seeing Chris on screen again, doing what he does best. Two thumbs up from me.
-TeeJay
I knew the day would come where I'm watching one of my regular TV shows, and unbeknownst to any of us, I recognize a certain face. Well, in this case, a certain voice. Cause Chris is on screen the first time in a baseball cap, barely recognizable, says two words, and I'm pointing at the screen, "Hey, that's Chris!"
And damn right it was. I haven't finished watching the episode yet, and I will after I've posted this, so expect more feedback later. And screencaps and stuff. And just... yay! \o/ :dancing:
-TeeJay
That's a great photo. I've added it to the gallery (of course). I also checked the guy's website (photographer Colin Stark, I mean). He's got a shitload of celeb photos in his gallery (mostly actors and musicians, as far as I could tell), but no Chris. Hmpf. Kinda irks me to know there must be tons more photos from his photoshoot but we'll probably never get to see them.
-TeeJay
Excellent! I posted it on the website in the news section. (Just FYI for those who don't wanna watch the whole thing, Chris's appearance is around minute 1:38.)
-TeeJay
Yep, Sprague played a kick-ass female soldier. Although I must say it was probably one of the weaker episodes so far.
-TeeJay
That's because we have Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gig_line

Dammit, I need to fly to LA! That sounds fabulous. Unfortunately, there's a couple thousand miles between me and Los Angeles. Who says being able to beam people is overrated?
-TeeJay
I think it's the vertical gap on his chin. Right?
-TeeJay
Just wanted to let you know I'm off to Copenhagen for a mini vacation tonight. I probably won't be online there because my laptop hates Steffi's modem for some reason. I'll be back home late Sunday night. Behave, my friends.
