My Chrissue for today is my TTC recap. I hope I can bring it to paper today.

#7352 Re: Joan of Arcadia » Adam & God Watch » 08 Sep 06 :: 14:58

I remember that scene. Maybe Adam doubts that Joan was "just joking". At least I thought so after watching it for the first time.

Seventies clothes are not that bad when they're authentic.  It's when people make modern mock-ups of them that they really suck.  Also, bell bottoms are kind of back in style with the kiddies these days.  And anything's better than that stupid ass-exposing hip-hop look so many dudes (Adam included) seem to favor these days.  But yeah, I much prefer Linus's rather tight, straight-legged pants.  tongue

I agree here.

And I am DYING to see him as Calvin!!! Bring that movie out the the theaters soon, please!!!! yikes

#7354 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 06 Sep 06 :: 20:58

I don't doubt that, Deb. smile
With the new screencaps I will be able to make a better avatar than the one I have at the moment.

#7355 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 06 Sep 06 :: 19:22

I could understand the availability thing. That guy is a workaholic! Or should I say "film-aholic"? wink

As for our avatars, Tina, I am waiting for the better screencaps. LOL

#7356 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 06 Sep 06 :: 12:45

No special special features? Shame!!! I was hoping for some interviews or something like that. But I am looking forward to the sound/picture quality. I need good sound. big_smile

#7357 Re: All About Chris » All you IMDb jerks out there » 05 Sep 06 :: 10:13

Oh yeah, I read this yesterday. LOL Poor Chris!

And no, Chris and Paul Dano do not resemble each other AT ALL. Somebody who thinks so must have a blurred sight or something like that. I mean I like Paul too, but he doesn't look like Chris at all. This person has probably never seen GND. roll

#7358 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 04 Sep 06 :: 21:33

Tina, I'll send you the shirt and my drool towel and your other stuff as soon as possible. I still could not find the right packing ... roll

#7360 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 03 Sep 06 :: 23:49

Oh great, and then I'll come over to your place again and we'll watch it together. Or maybe rather not, because I don't think I can watch Star Wars in English ... <sigh> roll
But sometime I'll buy the DVD Box. I always wanted to have the DVDs.

Could it be that you haven't actually seen Episode I, Anne? I think you should before you watch Fanboys!

Well, it was on TV here once, but I couldn't watch the whole thing because my mom hates Star Wars and she said she doesn't want to watch such shit like this (Star Wars is no shit!!!), so I had to turn it off. Shame. I really wanted to watch it. I am going to buy the DVD Box sometime in future. In faaaar future. LOL

And I'll never be able to know all these American abbreviations, so don't expect me to know them, please.

#7362 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 03 Sep 06 :: 20:50

Do I have to know what a stupid-ass CGI character is?

#7363 Re: The Bullhorn » A Brief History Of The Dorquettes » 03 Sep 06 :: 19:16

LOL, this is so friggin' HI-LA-RI-OUS!!!

Okay, I'll pick 22 because that's the day I was born. big_smile

#7364 Re: Joan of Arcadia » JoA season two on DVD » 03 Sep 06 :: 18:36

Thanks TeeJay. I'll keep my mouth shut now. wink

Who said he is YOUR man? tongue wink

I never blamed Alexis Dziena for playing Bonnie. I always blamed the writers for ruining my dream of LOVE!!! mad:mad::mad:
I just didn't like the character, so I didn't care if the actress did her job well or not.

#7366 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 03 Sep 06 :: 18:30

Chris looks British? LOL No way! lol
Then again I told Matt I watch everything with Chris in English and he asked me if it's his own voice, so maybe Matt thought he's German or something like that. LOL But no worries, I told him that it is his own voice ... at least I hope it is. big_smile

Oh, and my Chrissue for today is being home again after a very busy weekend in Mainz.

#7367 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 03 Sep 06 :: 18:28

See, Deb? The Germans put at least Chris on the cover. Love that one. big_smile

#7368 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 03 Sep 06 :: 18:27

Nooo! Are they serious about that? yikes
I DON'T LIKE that cover! Boooo! I want the black one!!!

#7369 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 03 Sep 06 :: 18:25

I think I should watch the Star Wars movies before I watch Fanboys. LOL

#7370 Re: Chris On Screen » Calvin Marshall - CHRIS IS NO LONGER INVOLVED » 01 Sep 06 :: 22:03

Must have been a Firefox problem, I tried IE and it worked. Thanks.

#7371 Re: Chris On Screen » Calvin Marshall - CHRIS IS NO LONGER INVOLVED » 01 Sep 06 :: 20:59

I tried to register, but it didn't work. An error message comes up telling me I have to "finish the suscription". Hello? I typed in my name and my email address. What do they need more? Shoe size? Weight? roll

#7372 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 01 Sep 06 :: 19:03

Ah, ok. Now I'm a little smarter. Thank you.

#7373 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 01 Sep 06 :: 17:41

What's MIFED, please? I'm sorry but like I said, I'm German and I don't have a clue about American movie business.

#7374 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 01 Sep 06 :: 16:22

There's a release date for Germany on imdb. It says June 21 2007. I still don't get it. The movie was shot between Sept. 30 and Dec 2 2005. So why does it take more than a whole year to bring it to the theaters? I may not have a clue about film business, but I think it's just stupid. I don't want to wait for another year for the movie. Or even longer for the DVD, because I'm not going to watch Chris talking German.
They also put a movie poster on imdb. Nothing     spectacular though.

#7375 Re: All About Chris » If The Dorquettes Made Chris's Demo Reel, It Would Have To Include... » 01 Sep 06 :: 09:21

I have to admit it, I didn't have a clue either. Never heard of that term. LOL
So thanks Tina, for the explanation.

So Chris is the new Dustin Hoffman? Well, for me he is also the new John Cusack, but I also like Dustin Hoffman a lot and I am definitely with you on following his career until he's 68 ...
I don't need to say that I second what Tina posted above. But yeah, I also want to see Chris as Mr. Evil. Kinda like a Dr. Jekyll (?)/Mr. Hyde character. LOL wink
