A Corduroy jacket and an antenna headband. I don't know, I think it's just the principle of the thing. What thing? No idea. But there's a principle behind it.
Well, he can't sue the people in Israel... they have nothing to give him.
Isn't he? Could you imagine if Adam didn't have all the patience he does?
Yeah, he should in this case. But he was talking about all the religious wars in the Middle East, which are sorta God's fault.
She's adorable when she's irrational. ;-)
Deb
Isn't she? I think that's why I love writing her mood swings so much, you know they'd be something little that she blew totally out of proportion. And poor Adam is left to deal with it.
A senator in Nebraska, because of all the natural disasters and the wars and everything. He's more just trying to get people sturred up.
Wooo! Cool!
I posted a new (non-smutty) Adam/Joan one. Other than Grace babysitting, Joan having pregnancy mood swings is probably one of my favorite story lines. And in this one Adam gets himself in deep.
Ok, the news is offically scaring me... Some guy's suing God. What's he gonna get? A Corduroy jacket and an antenna headband?
Uh... I better post my reaction over in 2.0 :embarrassed:
Cool. I'm gonna be leaving in a bit and might not be back till after eight, so I'll read it when I get back.
I think she was just trying to talk her way out of it instead of a simple "I don't know, I didn't make the table", which she said anyway.
would of is wrong. It sounds right and it was on one of my prompt tables.
I'm actually happy you pointed it out to me, other wise they probably would have made their ways into one (or three) of my stories because it does sound right in my brain.
I just fixed the words in my prompt table because I can't figure it out either. There is no use for should of, would of, or could of... unless it was a sentence like "you could/would/should, of course" but even that really makes no sense.
There is no way those words can end up in a dictonary, except as a "common mispronounciation" of the correct word.
Thanks guys.
I posted a new Adam/Grace one. Kind of a missing scene from The Fire and The Wood, when Grace and Adam leave Joan's house.
some random guy who took a picture of a flyer he got to learn what they actually have.
That actually sounds like something I would do. Maybe it's my brother.
I made the thread
I didn't even know Rizde has sport teams, but I know they're logo, so I'm sure they're hidious.
I just came seriously close to making "Randomness 2.0 (adults only)"....
Heh. Maybe. But I think I'm done now...
Bump, Bump, Bump, Share the road!
Ok, now I'm done
Detour, slow turn, rough road, slow, high water, exit only.
I don't know. I think share the road and one way are my favorites.
I just found a list of street signs, they sound very dirty taken out of context. (warning: not for the kiddies)
Stop, Yield, Slippery When Wet ( ), Dead End, 4-Way, Exit Only, Detour, Men Working, Divided Highway, Rough Road, Soft Shoulder, Share The Road, Fresh Oil, Bump, Dip, Traffic Circle, Narrow Bridge, One Way, High Water, Slow, Dangerous Intersection, Paved
some of the shows were never broadcated over here and i also did not download them. but some of them even if i never saw a single episde i just don't feel like watching.
" ugly betty" is one example. taking a telenovela and making it americanized sounds so silly and like there were a bunch of people who could not come up with an original ideea. and i am soory because i like america ferrara and mrs williams.
and alos i don't feel like giving " the office" a shot. steve carell seemed so silly in the 40 year old virgin!!!!what do you think of the shows? have you seen them??? which ones do you like??
Yeah, we seem to be having trouble coming up with original shows over here...
Ugly Betty is great. America totally does the show justice. And Vanessa Williams plays a witch (well, not a witch, replace the W with a B). It runs for an hour, which I think is a bit long because after a while the show just seems to run out of steam. It's also not a real "comedy" here, it is funny most of the time but it can get very very dramatic very quickly.
I've never seen The Office but I hear it's a great show. I just put the first season on my Netflix list, so I will be watching it. Steve Carell is a talented guy if you like the type of comedy he does, at least in my opinion. He's a funny man.
