Ever stop to think maybe he was there as her date?   wink

I mean, I have no idea who this chick is and she's 9 years older than him.  But if you Google "Emily Isacson dating", all those Chris pics pop up.  And they look pretty cozy...

Did you catch Sean there at the very end of the signing video?  Cute!

But now you know how they get those red carpet pics.  Must suck having to stand there and pose for those.  Heh.   tongue

He looks all scruffy.  Wish it was a better, closer pic.

Nevermind, it's not our site.  It's everything.  It's like AdBlock Plus refuses to work or something.  I uninstalled & reinstalled and it's still happening.  This was all of a sudden.  Maybe I got a virus.  Nooooooooooooooooooooo!  Any suggestions anyone?

I liked the movie.  It's not great, and you certainly shouldn't watch it for Chris.  But I liked the story.  Here's what I posted on IMDb about it...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2350892/boa … 350892?d=#

It's hard to tell maybe, if you don't know where to look, but a lot of love went into this movie. Chris Brinker's life was cut woefully short, which may explain the mishandling of the film's post-production, but this story obviously meant a lot to him. Originally titled Whiskey Bay, which was a much better name for it, you get the feeling there was more to the story of Jesse and his wife that got cut out. Anyone could've played Lynn, but they hired Amy Smart, who's a pretty good actress and then gave her nothing to do? I don't buy that. I'd love to read this script, actually. The chances are that if the Brinkers went so far as to write a love ballad for Lynn & Jesse for the end credits, that part of the story must've had more weight at some point. It might also go a ways toward explaining why Lt. Bud Carter would develop such a genuine concern for Jesse and fight so hard for him.

There were a lot of missteps, sure. But Dafoe and Dillon are so damn solid, I'm willing to forgive most of them. Despite Berenger's accent driving me crazy at times, I got a big kick out of his Col. Sanders style and seeing him get into a fistfight with Dafoe at the end. Elias and Barnes, at it again. Neat little twist that they worked with Matt Dillon in this and baby bro Kevin "Johnny Drama" Dillon was in Platoon.

It's a safe bet that I never would've even heard of this movie if Chris Marquette wasn't in it. Guess I have casting director, Matthew Barry to thank for that. He also cast Marquette's Alpha Dog co-star Alex Solowitz in this one. Thanks Matt! You always said you'd cast Chris anytime you could. Nice to see him in a more adult role in this, even though he's playing the green fed again. LOL!

This is just one of those movies you weren't aware of lands on the shelf and you pick it up on Saturday night and take a chance. On that level, I enjoyed it.

Found this movie on DVD at the local used book store for $5.99.  Will be watching it tonight.

Probably so they can change the damn keyart for the box from the poster we like to the one we don't!   mad

Wow, that's great.  And if you use keepvid.com, you can snag them down to keep forever.  big_smile

Guess it's a good thing because even though she still keeps promising me we'll get those DVD's one day, the chick we paid for a set of just Chris eps clearly ripped us off.   mad

Just learned that Chris met up with Dan Fogler last night (5/16/14) at a screening of Dan's movie Don Peyote.  Nice to hear that two of my favorite guys had a chance to hang out and catch up.   smile

I like the other one better. Why does everyone seem to go out of their way to RUIN every opportunity we have to see Chris on a poster? This one just makes him look like a fucking clown. Dammit.

I've watched most of it.  Tyler Labine hogs the panel, but it's still pretty cute.  Chris looks great and when he does get to talk, he's adorable as ever.  They did 2 panels, but the audio file is the same as the video.

#71 Re: All About Chris » Miscellaneous Stuff » 15 May 14 :: 01:19

LOL!

I guess I should also post the video here.  No one seems to be noticing that we have video of the panel!!!    ]:D
