When my son got Chicken Pox at 18(last year), the doctors from the office all came in to look. I guess it had been so long since they had seen a case of it, they were all amazed. So, you are just "lucky" I guess.
Jeez, Kate. what a month. Chicken pox is scary when you are grownup. Glad to hear to are better (please stay that way) and remember you will never have to go through that again.
"Sixguns and Society" it was required reading for a westerns class I took, it was about how western movies reflected changes in society.
"International Spy Museum's guide to Practical Spying" it was a gift when family visited the Spy Museum in Washington DC.
Probably 2 of the less strange ones on the list....I hope.
Should I be worried...I have 2 of those books.
Has anyone seen Alphas? Just started on it last week(episode 4), and not sure what I think, since it is the only one I have seen.
I know he was old and apparently had alzheimers, but this really made me sad. Columbo has been a absolute favorite of mine for about 35 years now.
I saw him once, and so wanted to gush about how much I loved columbo (something I never do, but Columbo was special)....but it was in a men's room, and that would have been just too awkward. (true story)
TV animation for "Monster High"
webisodes for "Wild Grinders"
direct to Video for "Tom and Jerry meet Sherlock Holmes"
My wife is coming back in a week, but she will be heading back soon after. The problems are long term...aging parents.
Hi, it has been forever. Life has been so crazy, I haven't had time for much. Working on way too many things at once, (nothing very interesting). Plus my wife's family has a lot of issues happening right now, so she has had to go back east to help out for over a month now, which means I have been Mr Mom (not complaining, it's just part of life, unfortunately). Some quick updates, my son is loving Nashville. He recently got a work-study job which could lead right into the career he has dreamed about his whole life, so that has been really exciting. I was nominated for 3 Golden reel awards (sound editor awards given by the MPSE), but my schedule is so crazy I can't go to the awards. (if you are interested, the website is mpse.org). I hope everyone is well (it seems so from the looking around I did tonight) and I hope to stop by more often, but until things get a little easier....
Looks like all time favorites the Weinsteins have finally completely lost it

Seriously...Shakespeare in Love 2????
It has happened a couple of times where a host was also a nominee. and in the 50s, David Niven was a host the year he won.
I saw this today, and it is a really great movie. Franco is going to get a well deserved oscar nomination. It is well worth seeing, but not for the faint of heart. the big scene is brutal, but it is very important for the film that it be so. One of the main themes of the movie, is the question of what a person will do to survive, and this shows just how much it can take.
and of course it was nice to see Amber on the big screen.
Saw the trailer on the big screen, and I am pretty certain that Chris is in the trailer. He is the one in white, who is hit by the van, and then there is a shot of him laying on the ground. I could be wrong, but on the big screen it looked like him.
Because we need constant reboots:
I think that it is going to Atlanta next.
We went to Peter Pan tonight, and it was awesome. The 360 stage and videos worked amazingly, the flying scenes were spectacular. Plus, they also do an underwater scene which is equally effective.
On top of it all, it was a really wonderful version of the play. The cast was great, they had the same actor play Mr. Darling and Captain Hook, which is a touch I love, and the interpritation of Tinkerbell was great. She was kind of a Feral child, and it all played very funny without losing anything. Plus, the version of the story really worked, my daughter ended up crying at the end (she is 14 and not quick to cry), it had some interesting insights in to life and growing up.
Really something special.
Well he is home through Thanksgiving, we are going to this apparently amazing version of the play Peter Pan, the audience and the stage are 360, with screens all around the room. That is tomorrow, and a few specific things, but mainly hanging out. I may get him to go see 127 hours, because no one else in the family wants to see it.
Having trouble explaining the show, so here is the link
Last Tuesday's episode was the last one I will be working on (it was always a temp job) but next week I am supposed to start on Southland. (I seem to be working on all of Deb's favorites...will Medium be next?) Not sure, but it seems like I will be finishing out the season. Now I need to see a few episodes...
My son is coming home from college tonight, and I am so happy! Haven't seen him since Aug.
Brisco County is on Netflix, btw.
Just watched Evil Dead 2 again, right before halloween, He is so great in those movies.
They had to make this after the success of the movie.....why do they keep doing this?
Just a quick note to say hi, and let you know I am still alive. Just been crazy times, working on multiple shows (Life unexpected, Men of a Certain Age, and Ricky Gervais has started again). My wife has been at her parents helping them as they are getting older and having issues, and right after she returned she needed surgery (it went great, but she has a lot of pain, and won't be back to full strength for a few weeks). So, I have been having to do the single father thing for the last month or so. Plus, my free time (what little there has been) has been taken up with watching the MLB team I have followed for my whole life finally win the World Series (sorry about the first round Deb, but you had a win in 1995, I never have). So, life has been hectic, but I have dropped by a few times, and I will be back when things get a little more normal. (of course I missed all of Chris's recent TV stuff, but I am looking forward to the upcoming movies)
I was going to post the same article. But it seems they are going to continue airing the filmed episodes for a little while at least, so if he already filmed it, it should make it to air. The series is probably dead though.
