Re: Misc. Stuff

Actually I like Hungry Man dinners in general, it was just I tried this new flavor and didn't like it.

I really like their Beer battered chicken with cheese fries, and their Boneless chicken.

Their Sports Grill hamburger isn't too good.

Meijer had them on sale for $2 each, whereas Jewel had them for 2 for $7.

Banquet is pretty bad and so is Budget Gourmet (or whatever it goes by now).

I can't believe the gas prices around here. Yesterday I spend $3.51 a gallon and a total of $34 to fill up my car. The Shell gas station is around $3.63 a gallon and I've seen it as high as $3.69 a gallon. I'm sure it'll cost more than $35 to fill up next week.

Re: Misc. Stuff

You're quite the bargain hunter, Illinois.  Last night, I tried some tamales from Trader Joe's and they were awesome!  Had some chicken vindaloo from there earlier in the week and it was pretty good too.  Trader Joe's rocks!

Gas hit $3.44 here today.  It's always cheaper for us than for you guys because we're closer to the gulf, but dayum!

Re: Misc. Stuff

I went to a garage sale today.

Bought a Shrek 2 board game for $1.00, a pasta strainer for 50 cents, a John Wayne (9 film collection) DVD for 25 cents and I got a large box of pads of paper & folders for free.

I'm starting to collect Speed Racer stuff and General Mills has a really cute Speed Racer Mach 5 cereal bowl that you send off for. So I'm thinking of buying some GM cereal and getting that, and in May starts McD's Speed Racer toys, of course I'm not interested in the Trixie toys, but going to try and get the cars from them.

Re: Misc. Stuff

I can't stand tv dinners! They taste like airplane food to me and most of them aren't Vegetarian.

And I totally agree with you about Trader Joe's, Deb. I love it and so does my mom!!  : D

Well, I couldn't find one where the smiley was actually nekkid.  I actually have one that's making an obscene gesture (with both hands, yet).

Re: Misc. Stuff

It's weird but yesterday my avatar changed back to the previous one I had. I didn't even change it myself. It's such a strange glitch...

Re: Misc. Stuff

It's not a glitch. I changed the forum back to an older version over the weekend because of issues some users had. Your old avatar was probably still stored in the old version. And for the record: I liked the old one much better. smile

I also realized I'm back to an older version of my avatar. Gotta change that back when I get home.

Re: Misc. Stuff

Friday I taped Up Up And Away and finally saw it for the first time. It's a very interesting movie that's well done. Chris was hilarious and adorable in it. I just wish he would of been in it more...

Re: Misc. Stuff

I have to admit, I don't like that movie much, but yeah, Chris is still hilarious.
