This is a little whackadoodle, but fun...

The Cross; The parting of the Red Sea; Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden; and Noah's Arc, as seen by "GoogleEarth".  Really well-done and clever.

Re: Misc. Stuff

Uhm... you can only access this page if you have a WordPress login, I think. At least it didn't work for me here in the office.

Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

Re: Misc. Stuff

I didn't need to do anything special to view it.  I just clicked a link.  Just Google it.  The Bible according to Google Earth should get you there.

I didn't see anything but that error message at work, I couldn't click anything. But it must have been something our firewall blocked, it's working fine here at home.

I have to admit, I don't really understand it... Maybe I'm just too tired today. I almost fell asleep in my office chair before I left work.

Re: Misc. Stuff

I mean, I did get that they found images on Google Earth that resemble situations from the Bible (though, like Laura, I failed to see where Adam and Eve were supposed to be in the jungle pic). Maybe I'm not enough of a paranormal phenomena person to find it special...

However, what I find funny is this:

Re: Misc. Stuff

What's to understand?  It's Bible scenes as if captured on Google Earth.  You have to look closely, Laura, but you can see little naked Adam & Eve lying in the grass near the water.

Re: Misc. Stuff

Um, you could always read the article that accompanies the pics.  They didn't find pics that resemble Bible scenes, they created Bible scenes as if seen from Google Earth.  I mean, how in the hell would they "find" something that looked like the parting of the Red Sea with all the Hebrews walking into it?   And what exactly is "paranormal" about this?  It's an interesting project.

Re: Misc. Stuff

I'd have to swap the pickles and onions for something I like. But other than that, it sounds delicious.

I just finished baking chocolate cheesecake brownies and making a sort of Tiramisu-like thing, only it's not cheese cream but moccha chocolate mousse it's made with. Sort of like my own creation. Hope the colleagues like it when we have it tomorrow.

Re: Misc. Stuff

Tonight was one of the nicest nights I've had in a while. I saw a theatre play with my top 1 favorite German actor. And it was great. A comedy. Me and my friend Anja laughed a lot. We sat first row. And Martin was great! Just an overall great play. Basically a two-man show, it was only him and one other actor (that I also knew from TV).

The coolest thing was that in the middle of the play, a cell phone rang in the audience. And Jochen Senf improvised and said something like, "Do you hear that music?" And Martin had to grin, thought for a moment, and then said, "Yes, I hear it too." They both had to laugh and I think they were about to really crack up there on stage. The audience laughed too. But then they pulled themselves back together and went on with the play. It was a great moment.

I waited for Martin after the show to say hello. I had met him before a handful of times, so he actually knows me. I hadn't talked to him in maybe two years, though. He gave me a hug, but unfortunately had to leave very quickly. Told me to phone him so we could catch up. Maybe I'll just do that. So there's another actor who's really down to earth. Very much a regular dude.

I guess no one here but Anne will know him, but let me post a photo for you anyway (his name's Martin Lindow):
