Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I'm with you Anne. I'd love to see Chris on stage, but there's no chance I'll be going to Colorado to see it.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I almost watched that the last time it played on the Disney Channel, but I kept forgetting it was on till it was over.  LOL!

Only got a few hours sleep last night.  Need a nap.  But we should talk later if you can...

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I found something where Chris obviously did voicework that I'd never heard of before: The Trumpet Of The Swan. Wow, he really has done more voicework than we think, hasn't he? Funnily enough, Mary Steenburgen and Joe Mantegna did two of the main characters on this one. I think Chris was only a really, really small player.

What was fate? That Chris got to work with both of them again?

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Yep.  There's a bunch of little coincidences like that.  When you add them up, they don't feel so much like coincidences.  Like Tisha's middle name being Helen.  You could even go so far as citing that his dad's middle name is Luis, which is the masculine version of Luisa.

In Going After Cacciato, there are several little coincidences that make me think of Chris.  For instance, Paul Berlin's platoon is Alpha Company.  And in one passage, some is said to have had "a failure of imagination".  There are a couple more in there that I meant to tell you guys about, but I can't remember them right now.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I didn't know about that either.
But it's cool to find out something like that every now and then. wink

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

So has anyone seen Chris in Up, Up, and Away on Disney yet. I've seen it 5 times already because it was on twice yesterday and once today. It has been on a few other times too.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Watched it once on TV here. Dubbed of course, which sucks. Well, it's one of these nice little movies for children, I guess I am too old for that now. LOL

I haven't seen that movie, no. There's so much of Chris's older stuff that I haven't seen yet.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Well, I've sure seen that one! Yes, absolutely wonderful movie. Well worth watching. Chris was amazing in it, even at his age. He's very proud of it too, he told us that himself.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I saw the last 30 minutes or so of Up, Up & Away once.  It looked like it might be  a fun little movie.  He's certainly hyperkinetic in it.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

How did you see it?  The DVD has been out of print for a while.  Was it on cable or something?
