Re: Randomness

Don't you all just LOVE being women? roll I just shaved my legs and all with a new sharp razor. Actually so sharp I made a little cut on my ankle. btw, I always get cut in the same spot. What's with that? Anyways, I was super-careful to get it all and after I was done and putting on clothes, I take another look and what do you know! There's a row of hair on each leg. Like f'ing mohawk of the legs! Now I'll have to suffer thru it again sometime soon...

Re: Randomness

I got a cool new razor at walmart it was 9 dollars but it was worth every penny. With the disposable razors I cut my self on my shin all the time

Leg mohawks, huh?  Maybe you could start a new fad.  Tell people you meant to do that.  LOL!

I have a Gilette Venus and I love it. Haven't cut myself even once. It's one of the more expensive ones out there, but it's definitely worth every penny too.

Re: Randomness

I had that one before. It was good. There was only these cheap ones, insanely sharp ones when I needed a new one. I guess I picked the wrong shop.

Re: Randomness

I actually used to have the Wilkinson Lady Protector, which was okay too, but I think I like the Venus best. Hope you find something better in another store some time, Maria.

Re: Randomness

That's great!  I know what it's like to worry about a lost dog.

My dog McGee that I had a long time ago, got accidentally let out by my roommate's boyfriend and wandered off once.  It blew me away that she was found more than a mile and a half away, behind a gym, rooting through some trash.  I'd looked for her all over for hours, but never imagined she gone that far.  I was distraught all night.  She was epileptic and not used to cars.  But I got lucky because somehow, she got across 4 lanes unharmed.  It's a good thing she was a super sweet, cute, soft, friendly dog.  A lady noticed her right away and lured her over easily.  She took her home, fed her and let her sleep with her daughter.  Then she called her tags in to the humane society the next morning and I got her back that afternoon.  Whew!

Re: Randomness

Silverlake is at least 10 miles from school according to mapquest. my dog ran off once, he went to see the dog behind us, my dog is a jack russell terrier,he runs very fast. i found him after about 20 minuetes, i thought he was going to run out in the street. we have to keep my dog on a leash whenever he goes outside.

Re: Randomness

Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh. My blind date turned out to be a complete dork. The kind of guy you don't wanna be seen in public with. And he smelled of garlic, and not in a good way. Ugh. I'm definitely not gonna meet with him again. Why do all men my age that are still single have to be socially (and/or visually) awkward? *shudders*

Re: Randomness

Well, it wasn't a terrible evening (we did also watch "Up", which was fun), the guy was just not my type at all. So I wouldn't say it sucked, it was just not something I want to repeat.

Re: Randomness

So what you're saying is that the part in the dark where you didn't have to look at him or talk to him didn't suck.  lol

Re: Randomness

That's great!  I know what it's like to worry about a lost dog.

Me too. About 3 years ago, my dog was missing for 17 days, and it was the worst 2 1/2 weeks of my life. We have a fenced in backyard, but one of my sisters left the gate open and she got out. She had gotten out before and never really left the area, but someone was setting off fireworks that night and she got scared. We put up flyers, took out ads, and took trips to the ASPCA every other day. One morning she just showed up at the door. Talk about a miracle!! Thankfully she was completely fine...just needed a nice, long bath.

Also, lol at the leg mohawks. I HATE when that happens!!

Re: Randomness

The Beagle mix is Penny, (after one of my favorite football players) and the Pit mix is Lexi, and they are both rescue dogs. We changed Penny's name when we got her, but kept the name Lexi had because she was named after the street they found her on, and we thought it was cute and meaningful. They are 2 of the sweetest dogs ever, but sadly they are in NY with my parents while I am here in Florida sad

Re: Randomness

Cute dogs! smile

Sorry about your date, Tina. Sounds like a nightmare. I once went on a blind date and it was the most awkward thing. And the guy was a snobb of somekind talking about his money all the time... ugh..
