Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Hey, we laid down the ground rules for Rankin before they ever started shooting:

Don't let him cut his hair (it was already really short).
Make him shave (yeah, fat chance).
Try to give us a shirtless scene.
He must kiss the girl.

If he didn't follow the rules as we explained them, it's his ass, right?  wink

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Please excuse me for being cryptic because I'm not allowed to be any more specific, but let me just say that we might hear something kinda cool in the hopefully not too distant future. smile

Don't worry, it won't be secret for much longer.  I think announcements will be made this coming week.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

LOL! Mike Welch posted a new blog, and he says:

A few days ago I drove to Portland from Sacramento, and I had my "mini- Into the Wild" experience.  I saw the Oregon coast, did a little hiking in the woods, saw some elk, horses, and cows.  I have great advice for anyone planning on road tripping, and this comes from my buddy Chris Marquette. Try to make a conscious effort to step OUT of the car when you're in the middle of nowhere.  It's one thing to stop for necessities, but stop when you're miles away from anything industrial.  It doesn't have to be a big deal.  I stopped every 2-3 hours, usually for about 30 sec- 1 min, just to breath the air, feel the ground under my feet, check out the scenery, and stretch.  The trip is greatly enriched.  It seems simple and benign, but it makes a HUGE difference, trust me.

Damn good advice, Chris! smile

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

my buddy Chris Marquette

Aww. Cool advice too, seems simple, but it's something a lot of people (including me) would never think of or do by themselves.

ETA: You know how Michael Welch refers to twilight fans as twi-hards, I know he means it in a jokey way, but though I'm not a twi-hard, it doesn't sound all that complimentary. And as for Stargate fans being gate-heads, I know people who don't really like that label either. And I can't blame them. He seems to have a knack for picking odd names for fan groups. hmm Just a thought.
