Great!  Thanks, TeeJay.  Of course there's a lot more going on in the Saskatchewan thing.  But I'm sure it's a lot easier to draw/paint something than it is to cast it in metal.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Nov 2007 is NOT the latest, TeeJay.  we have pics from Christmas, remember?  And aren't the pics with Doug and Mima just from a couple of months ago?  Someone with an LJ account should let MusicallyStripy know that.

Exactly why I hid.  Those LJ communities are just a bunch of mindless idiots who want to see kids turned into druggies and gossip    They're ruining the site.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

That was quite a cool compilation of pics over the years of Chris. Always nice to look at. smile

One of the things I like about Chris is that he's necessarily the kind of guy that'd have everyone swooning over him. Okay, maybe those who don't ain't entirely sane. But when you think about the internet fangirly types, how many of them are sane?

My top celeb crushes (for want of a better term) have always been the type the some people might look at and say, "why?". That's the way I am, and at least it has always provided some kind of reassurance that I don't just follow the crowd. Okay, take Clay Aiken for example, now most people will conceed that he can sing (if they've heard of him), but most don't appreciate his damned sexiness and focus on the old rumour that he's gay. But me, I think he is one of the sexiest guys around. I've had a "celeb crush" (not fond of this term, but I guess it's the most apt) on Milo Ventimiglia since he was Jess on Gilmore Girls. Now, everyone usually sees his hotness and are jumping on the bandwagon, and it's odd to me, because I usually don't get pictures in magazines of the guys I like, they're filled with Justin Timberlake and I don't even know who because I haven't bought those magazines in years.

I don't know what I'm trying to say, except that the people in that LJ who aren't liking the latest pictures of Chris, well, their sanity questionable opinions aren't unsurprising to me.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Actually, I think it's because he's a grown man now.  And they wanted him to stay gangly, floppy-haired Adam forever.  They're probably all 13.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Hey, I wanted him to stay gangly, floppy-haired Adam forever too... but he's not.  One thing I really hate about those people is that they say horrible things about people with nothing to back them up.  If you're gonna bad mouth someone, least you can do is give a fracking reason.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

It's an opinion though, what did they say? they don't like the way he looks in the last photo? That's an opinion, how do you expect them to back it up? They're well entitled to it.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

That one person who said they never liked him.  And now looking at him all grown up he makes them want to barf.

It's not them necessarily, it's a lot of people on that idiot run website.  I need a nap.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I have recently decided that floppy-haired, grown-up, filled-out, manly Chris would be just about perfect.  He almost got there last year.  The Comic Con pics were damn close.  I really do wish he'd grow his hair out again.  But I think he just gets handsomer as he gets older.

Yeah, but there's people that I've never liked, they're not attractive to me. Example: Johnny Depp, never liked him, and don't find him attractive. I know a lot of people disagree with me but how am I supposed to justify that opinion, apart from 'I just don't like him'? Do I need to justify that opinion? It's an opinion, how is it more valid than the person next to me saying that they do like him and do find him attractive?

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Not to speak for Laura, but I think she was kinda talking about how mean people can be online when talking about the favorite guy of the person who's posting about them.  How they ruin it for everybody else.  Right Laura?  It's amazing how some people just have to piss in everyone's Wheaties.  What's that about?

Like how I was attacked last weekend.  First publicly and then in private when this assbag couldn't get me to fight him.  All because he has to be the one to shout longest and loudest against Fanboys supporters on a Fanboys board.  If you don't like something, bugger the hell off.  You know what I mean?

People suck.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Not finding him attractive is justifiable reason.  I said it's not just people on that page... it's all over LJ.

And yes, Deb, that was kind of what I was trying to say.  There's no reason to be stupid or mean.  And people are both

Yeah, I knew that full well when I posted my comment there. I didn't mention or link these pics on purpose. They're kinda private, belong here on the board, and I didn't want to share them with a bunch of idiot, you know? There's a reason we didn't put them in our website gallery.

There is one thing I have to agree with on that site, though. On the History Boys premiere pic, I agree with some of these kids that he doesn't exactly look great. I think it's just not a good or flattering photo, that's all.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

Yeah, well, I don't find the need to be hypercritical of his looks in every single pic.  He's still Chris and he's beautiful, inside and out.  Those brats can bite me.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

PS: The Christmas pics with everything cropped out of them don't necessarily HAVE to be private because you can't tell where they came from or what they are anyway.  But whatever, I don't care enough about a bunch of bitchy little kids to argue about it.

Re: Miscellaneous Stuff

I know we are the biggest tease, but Chris just wrote us a really long e-mail. Unfortunately, I can't share much of what he said since most of it was off the record. He talked a bit about Graduation, I think he is his own greatest critic. The Witch Mountain shoot is going great, they're coming to close now. He says it's the biggest budget movie he's worked on so far, and it's really something different to work on something so huge. Some stuff in Vegas left to film, then he moves on to another project he's very excited about. Details to follow (he hasn't shared any). Cafe Chaos is still in the works, they haven't really started with it yet. And he said what he saw of Infestation looked really good. Yay! smile
