Re: Misc Stuff

Jared Leto is doing Fight club 2?

I wonder if it will be out around the same time as Never back down 2. Alex Meraz is in that one. my favorite reason to suffer thru Twilight movies. Oh, and I do love Never back down. I wonder if the sequel will be as good. Alex posted some really hunky on-set pics on Twitter.

Re: Misc Stuff

I wasn't being serious, just saying he looked like he could be.  And your link doesn't show up.  It has to end in .jpg or it won't work.

Re: Misc Stuff

This is totally random, but I just wanted to throw this out there. If there ever was a role that was perfectly cast, it'd be Matt Bomer for Neal Caffrey on White Collar. He just nails that man. Anyone else watching this show?

Re: Misc Stuff

I think it was a USA Network mid-season show or replacement. The first season had 14 episodes, the second only 9. But apparently it has been renewed for season 3. I've only seen the first 12 episodes so far, but I'm planning on watching the rest eventually. A lot of the show is a little over the top (it's not exactly based in reality, not that I know much about white collar crime), but I've grown really attached to the characters.

The main premise revolves around the young, high-profile art forger and thief Neal Caffrey. He's been eluding the FBI for years, and FBI agent Peter Burke hunted him down for years. He finally arrests him and Caffrey spends 4 years in prison. The show begins when three months before his sentence is up, Caffrey escapes to find his girlfriend because she's about to leave him. Burke arrests him again, but instead of locking him up again, they come to a mutual agreement that Caffrey helps him close another high-profile case. It works so well that Caffrey manages to persuade Burke to keep him out of prison and let him help with the white collar cases while wearing an tracking anklet. And next to the crime solving part, there's the part where Caffrey searches for his girlfriend who did leave, but there seems to be something going on where she is coerced into making Caffrey hand over an original of something he forged in the past. Thus begins another cat and mouse game...

The only person of the cast I knew was Sharif Atkins, who was on ER for a while. I'm sure I've seen Tim DeKay in something else before as well, but I don't remember what.

Re: Misc Stuff

Weird. That photo worked when I upped it. well, I put it as a link now.

I've watched couple of episodes of White collar. A friend was gushing over it so much, I had to check it. I guess it's ok. I'm watching so many series now, I'm kinda tuning out majority of them and concentrating on my favorite ones that are airing new episodes right now. I'll have fun marathons in the winter then.. but yep, White collar is definately worth checking out, especially if you like agent/cop-shows.

Looked it up on IMDb.  That's a really nice cast.  I'll check it out.

Yeah it is. Made me a fan of Sean Faris. He's almost too puffed up to be my type but his boyish face makes up for it. He ain't a bad actor either. but I'll always be a Marquette-fan first and all else MUST come later. wink

No.  Unless they cast some other cool people, I'm not the slightest bit interested.

Hahaha the premise for this show was and is ridiculous!! It would be amusing to see them reproduce it, but ohhhhhh come on! Seriously this is the best that Hollywood could come up with

Re: Misc Stuff

I actually loved the series. Johnny Depp was ALWAYS special.  I knew it then.  I just don't like the remake casting.  It's like putting Russell Brand in the Arthur remake.  It's disrespectful and gross.

Re: Misc Stuff

I'd say 95% of the remakes out there is crap anyway. And there's stuff you're just not allowed to remake, but some people just don't get that. roll
I remember watching some episodes of 21 Jump Street while I was visiting my grandma when I was a kid. She always allowed me to stay up late and watch all those crime shows and stuff I wasn't allowed to watch at home. But of course I had no idea who Johnny Depp is back then nor could I imagine what he would be today. LOL

Agreed.

I didn't even know about 21 Jumpstreet until couple of years ago. Found a couple of eps online a few months ago but they were crappy versions. Another old American show that never made it to Finnish TV.

Re: Misc Stuff

These characters are supposed to be able to pass for HIGH SCHOOL KIDS.  That's the whole premise of the damn show.  Do Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill look like high schoolers anymore?  No, they do not.  This casting is a joke.  I'm actually wondering if they're gonna turn it into some shitty spoof like Starsky & Hutch.

Yes remakes are lame. The Lindsay Lohan remakes i.e. The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday really insult me. Also Carrie remake and remake of Friday The 13th, just to name a few. There are alot of horrible remakes.

I didn't know Freaky Friday was a remake. The movie's kind of fun to watch once in a while, though I'd never buy it on DVD.
