That's is sweet.  And I'm glad to see that Adam was still alive for graduation.  (What with the exposure to the killer strains of VD and the various and sundry blows to the head. wink)

And, Laura.  I love that, when the prompt is "Ends", the avatar is a butt with a copyright symbol.  Niiiice.

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

I just renamed my fanfic journal, it's now called fic_crazed instead of fic_on_mind.   All the links around here that have fic_on_mind in the web address will redirect to the new name, and everything's the same over there as it was before.

Yes, that's probably a more apt description of ALL of us around here, huh?

Yep. wink

And if I ever leave LJ for whatever reason, that's my user name at insanejournal, so it'll be easier to find that way.

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Oh, hey, Laura, you know what? In German your journal name is way naughty. In German "to fuck" means "ficken", and a good "fuck" is a good "Fick" in German. And you pronounce that just like the word "fic". So you're Fick-crazed, huh? wink

LOL. Don't worry about it. I doubt a lot of Germans check your journal in the first place.

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

I wanted to, but somehow I always forgot to tell you. Actually, fick-on-mind is even better than fick-crazed. LOL So..... would me sleeping with Chris be a fan-fick? (Sorry, that's just way inappropriate, I know, but I couldn't resist.) We need to move this over to the Randomness 2.0 thread.

Yeah, I don't think people were expecting to see ficking right here on the boards.  You usually have to click a link for that.  wink

Not feeling much of anything, actually neutral

I'm in a major fanfic lul... it was bound to happen eventually, I guess.  Months with no writer's block and now here it is.

Re: JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories

Dude, I totally understand that.  Happens to me quite a lot. Like when I'm trying to write a wedding, for instance.  Despite what people tell you, there's no real cure.  It ends when it ends.  One thing I've done in the past and should do now, in fact, is read this great bio of Anne Rice called Prism Of The Night.  I don't know why, but it always makes me feel better and makes me want to write.  Maybe because Anne dealt with so much adversity in her life and the only thing that kept her going was her compulsion to write.  And Katherine Ramsland, a brilliant writer herself and Anne's biggest fan, makes it palpable on every page.

If I really get desperate, I re-read How To Enjoy Writing by Isaac & Janet Asimov or Just Open A Vein, a collection of essays about writing.

And somehow, Joan and Adam are always with me, talking in my head (sometimes more), usually within the chapter I'm working on.  Most of the time, what they're saying is only half-formed or not ready to be written down.  Needs to gestate.  I never said I was a prolific writer.  Just a passionate one.  I envy your creative flow.  There's really nothing wrong with needing a break from it.  You'll be back on track long before I accomplish anything.
