You don't need an account to second it. Authors can't second themselves anyway You just need to entire your email. I seconded it, but for some reason I'm not getting the email for it. I'd love to nominate Butterflies, but it doesn't look like they're taking anymore nominations

In reality, so would Joan. Too bad it's not that way in more fics. I wish fic writers didn't take their cues from the lazy series writers and decide that she'd still be too hung up and scared to have sex with the guy she's been in love with forever even though she's a full grown woman.

People aren't using their imaginations, that's the problem. Like the only possible "natural" way for them to have sex is to be married. Neither of them would really just come out one day "so, want to...?" And some writers just keep them out of any situation where they'd be tempted, which would be damn near impossible.

I don't understand that at all. Where's the fun in writing that? Now, I realize some of the fic writers are very young and might not be ready for sex themselves. That's fine. But making them wait 5 years --- well into their adulthood --- is something only someone like Chuckie would do.

I never saw the fun in making them wait, even when I was 15. They were always sleeping together when they were like 17 or 18. I was living vicariously through them. Still am.

Alexandri's stories were pretty chaste, but nowhere near as repressed as some of Chuckie's epics. In the 3rd chapter of "Then Everything Changes" she is kind of taking victory laps for being able to complete her first sex scene. Eventually, she got over it. :embarrassed::drool::D;) And they're all really well written. So I'm able to overlook the fact that they made it to 21 without taking the plunge.

Donna, if you're up on your "Butterflies" you've already read two really good body painting scenes. Here's another one. Enjoy!

Thanks. Yeah, I added another chapter a while ago. There is one or two more to go, but I really don't know when I'm gonna finish that story. But I will. It just might take a long time and me feeling like wanting to revisit that particular Joaniverse.

Wow. Alexandri certain learned how to write smut didn't she. good for her. I actually really like her writing even if her early stuff is a little chaste. Congrats on the nomination TeeJay. Let us know if/when we can vote. I went to the site but didn't read the rules to see how it works. Thanks evryone for sending me more fanfics to read. I am half-way done the list , not including Laura's I have quite a ways to go on that, but slowly but surely I am making my way through it all. And I love it.:drool::drool:
