Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Does it count as a co-star project if Anna Faris gets naked for Playboy? (Not that I am really interested in this, but iGoogle was showing a link when I logged on.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I watched a movie yesterday that I'd never heard of before called "Feast of Love". It had an amazing cast, including Morgan Freeman, Jane Alexander, and Greg Kinnear.  Shannon Lucio was in it although, if you blinked, you might've missed her.  It was sad and sweet and had some funny moments.  If you're in that kind of mood, check it out.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I thought the previews for that one looked really good.  Glad to see it actually was.

Think he might try to sue Mantegna?:/:D

EDIT:  Looks like the surviving victim is being played by Gina Mantegna, Joe's daughter.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Not a project, but about a co-star...

Scarlett Johansson Engaged To Ryan Reynolds

LOS ANGELES — Scarlett Johansson and her boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, are engaged.

The 23-year-old actress and the 31-year-old actor have not set a wedding date, Johansson's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, said Monday.

Johansson's recent credits include "The Other Boleyn Girl" and "The Nanny Diaries." Reynolds recently starred in "Definitely, Maybe." He was previously engaged to Alanis Morissette.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Another one featuring one of Chris's directors...  Fred Durst --- yes, Fred Durst --- will be in tonight's new ep of House (which also features AD's Olivia Wilde in a regular role).

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

Whoa!:o  That was a great "House" episode!  Fred Durst must really be a fan of the show, because that bartender he played didn't get a whole lot of air time.  Part II should really be good.  "House" is really formulaic and they've even ended seasons like this before, but I love the show.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I think Fred will be back, Carol.  Something happened in that bar between House and Amber.  And how long and loud was I yelling Amber during the scene where he finally gets it?  It was quite a ride.  And it ain't over yet.  You're right about the repetition though, when is it ever Addisons?  But he suggests it every week.  Is that a joke?

Medium was wicked cool too.  And yeah, no cliffhanger.  You can tell it was a truncated year. That was a more of a mid-season turning point than a season-ender.  Still, very satisfying.

Not really a project, but there's a new Mike Welch fansite that recently opened: www.michael-welch.com

Do we wanna link it in the WWW co-stars section?

Whatever you do please do not post the graphic they made. A new one is forthcoming.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

What do you mean, Larry? What graphic? The one with Luke pictures in the header? I wasn't gonna add any graphic to our site, just a text link to the new Mike fansite. But if you'd rather we wouldn't, I don't have to.

This is the banner they posted in a comment on Mike's MySpace:

Obviously the tagline is a problem. Although I'm sure they meant no harm. Between you and me they ought not be posting the blog entries in their entirety, either. They need to do what Twilight Lexicon does, which is simply post a link to the blog entry. That's just common internet courtesy. They've been notified about both.

Re: In Praise of Chris's Colleagues

I see. Well, this girl, Vee, she hangs out on the JoA Fan Forum a lot. The other day I clicked on the link to her private website, and she's a 14-year-old girl from Thailand. Like you said, I'm sure she means no harm, she probably just doesn't know better. However, I would have thought Shadowcrawler knew better, she's been around for a while and I think she's in her mid-twenties. She's a co-webmaster on the site, but if I read it right, mostly for the gallery. Did they use the CSI: Miami caps off Michael's MySpace? If so, did they ask if they could?

I posted a link to Michael's latest blog on the dazzlingstars.com forum, but just a link to MySpace as I do realize you're not supposed to repost someone's personal blog without permission.

They also posted the images from Mandy Lane on their front page. I told them they're kinda spoilery if you haven't seen the movie. Hope they change that.

And in this case, Larry, I won't link to their site. We're linking Mike's official site, that should be enough.

We have never been approached by them whatsoever regarding permission to do anything. The only way I knew the site even existed is because they posted a comment on Mike's page with that banner.

Thanks. That's always best.

They also posted the images from Mandy Lane on their front page. I told them they're kinda spoilery if you haven't seen the movie. Hope they change that.

I didn't even notice that. I just saw the banner and header, then that they'd reposted the blog posts, and got out quick and notified Mike's people wink before I got too upset.

And in this case, Larry, I won't link to their site. We're linking Mike's official site, that should be enough.

I think if we can get them to play by the rules it will be great. I'd predicted awhile back that fan sites for him should be popping up eventually so it's not a surprise and is a good thing, I think. We just have to get them to do it the right way before promoting them.

Right now the only official sites, as you know, are his site and MySpace.
