The agent talent relationship is a strange thing. And you would be surprised how little agents do to get their clients work. I have known a lot of people who have agents, and almost all of the work any of them get, is work they get themselves, through their friends, coworkers, or people who have seen and like their work. Agents mainly work out contracts, and make sure their clients get paid.

LOL! Yeah, I know, it's a bit of the agent, a bit of the manager, and a lot of hustle on the part of the actor. "Buddy system" jobs are actually my favorite kind. And Chris has certainly had some of those, this Criminal Minds ep being a perfect case in point. That was all Papa Joe. He's also gotten a lot of work through his long relationship with Sony. Who knows what else could come along this TV season, since he's got friends working ALL OVER the place...?

I've been watching No ordinary family lately and just had to check who was this one actor. He looks so much alike one of the guys on Alphadog, but apparently he isn't. Its some dude name Josh Stewart. Maybe the Hollywood genepool is getting smaller. So many actors are looking alike.

This is super-exciting for me. A Twin Peaks reunion on Psych! Ray Wise did some of his best, most bizarre work on that show. So many cast members from TP came back for this. Should be a lot of fun. I can hear that creepy-cool Angelo Badalamenti theme song already...

Marcia Gay Harden's recurring, undercover FBI agent character on Law & Order: SVU has a perfect record of getting Elliott hurt every time she shows up. It still stands in tonight's ep. A bullet intended for her rapist ricocheted off a steal beam and nailed El in the shoulder. Wow. LOL! And ouch!
