Re: Race To Witch Mountain

Boy, am I glad I saw this one in Washington. The theater in Cologne doesn't have it on their monthly schedule for April and I have a feeling the Düsseldorf theater won't show it either. If it's showing somewhere where I'd have to drive an hour or so, I don't think I'm gonna see it again and rather wait for the DVD.

I didn't put up my hopes for my theatre either. I guess I have to wait for the DVD.

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

Just saw an advert on the tv for Witch Mountain over here in the UK. Included 1 Chris shot which is the shot of him from the trailer in that suit saying awesome, or whatever it is.

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

Looks like the Germany premiere of the movie is gonna be on March 31 in Berlin. Andy Fickman's probably gonna be there, seeing how his Facebook status says he's on the way to Europe to promote the movie. If it was a little closer to where I live, I might have entered a competition to win tickets that I found, even though the movie would be dubbed. smile

We need to move closer to Berlin, Tina. wink
Really, there was a contest about the movie? I didn't even know! But I saw a short version of the trailer on TV today. No Chris, though. I so hope that my OV theatre will put it on their schedule. roll

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

I don't know who published that but I begin to lose my trust in German movie journalists ...

DIE JADG ZUM MAGISCHEN BERG Science-Fiction Abenteuer, USA. Regie: Andy Fickman. Drehbuch: Matt Lopez, Mark Bomback. Mit Dwayne Johnson, Anna Sophia Robb, Alexander Ludwig, Carla Gugino, Ciarán Hinds, Gary Marshall, Tom Everett Scott, Christoph Marquette, Billy Brown.

WTF??? yikes
They're not even able to write his name. roll

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

RTWM has grossed nearly $100 million worldwide.  And it still hasn't finished opening in new markets.  Good news for everyone concerned, but a major hit for Chris. Thanks to my friend, Daja_ace on IMDb for this news.

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

Interesting note:  not only is Tom Everett Scott in SouthLAnd, so is Billy Brown.  I didn't even think about it, but Billy got totally cut out of the movie, didn't he?  And Tom's barely there.  I guess we're lucky we got as much Chris as we did.  Now, if only he can get a guest role on this show next season...

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

I found a still of Chris that I hadn't seen before. Direct linking doesn't work, so you'll have to look at it here: http://www.zelluloid.de/filme/bilder.php3?id=19907&p=39

If anyone has the time to go look for a larger version, that'd be much appreciated because I'm gonna be pretty much AWOL until next Tuesday.

Btw, they've taken down the official Flash website, now you're redirected to some generic pared down Disney DVD site that only has the trailer and one photo from the movie. What a let-down.

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

Yeah, Disney sucks that way.  Nice pic though.  I'll upload it tonight so it can be linked.

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

Uploading isn't the problem.

WitchMountain_Still_06.jpg

I'd love to have a larger version of the pic and I was thinking that maybe there are other movie websites out there that might have all those Witch Mountain stills in a larger size. I just won't have time to look around for the next few days. If anyone finds a larger version, that would be awesome!

Originally, they were saying around Christmas time, but I knew that couldn't be true.  I think the timing is about average.  But I know you would've liked it for your birthday, Mel.

Re: Race To Witch Mountain

Have you seen the pics from a couple of weeks ago where he's all sunburned and swarthy with his tight, open-collared shirt?  Look at those pecs and those arms!  And his smooch of his baby bro?  I just love these pics! They've both been working out.
