Re: Random JoA Stuff...

My mom passed a way a few months before the first ep aired.  That's probably why it means so much to me --- because it came along when I was in a lot of pain and really was like a balm.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

It's not really JoA, but some time ago I began to notice those little coincidences in Amber's and Chris's careers.
It started with Amber's blue hair in SOTTP and Chris's green hair in Graduation and then I started to notice some other things too (for example they both shot horror movies already).
The newest coincidence is: While Chris is in Bulgaria/Europe to shoot Infestation, Amber is in Greece/Europe to shoot Sisterhood 2. And the funny thing is: They're even in the same time zone! Can you believe that? wink
I find that so funny, my to favorite actors and all these little similarities in their careers. I should start to write them down. LOL

That's very cool, Doree!! Congrats! You'll be happy to hear that I finally managed to convert The Tic Code to NTSC, so I'm gonna see to it that I send your stuff off as soon as I can. Let us know what you think about s2 of JoA.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

I didn't like Judith the first time around.  She was getting in the way of Adam and Joan getting back to "normal".  But, you see, I missed a very important ep called Friday Night that first time.  Later, when I finally saw it, I cried my eyes out and grew kind of attached to her.  You probably will too.

Shhhhhhhhhhh!  Nobody spoil Friday Night for Doree!

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

I didn't know what to think of Judith when I first saw s2. I felt a little like Deb because she got in the way of Adam and Joan. And since Adam had a really hard time warming up to her, she was a bit of a wedge stuck in between him and Joan. And as a true Adam/Joan shipper, of course I hated that. I also grew to like Judith as the season progressed. There's a BEAUTIFUL Adam/Judith scene in 2x07 POV. I love that scene. You'll know which one I mean when you see it.

Judith was always a bit of a tragic character, and I was also moved by what happened in 2x08 Friday Night. But I'm not gonna spoil, don't worry.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

Yeah, Judith, I first didn't know what to think about her. When she was new, I didn't like her very much but then I got used to her until that thing happened and I was somehow like "Oops, didn't expect that to happen".

So I'm on the last episode of the first season of JoA. I have loved the first season so far. Hope the second season is as good as the first! big_smile

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

The second season is different. A lot of people say they liked the first season better. I can't decide. I love them both for different reasons. Season two is somehow darker, but also somehow more mature. Well, except for what happens in episode 2x19, that wasn't mature at all. But maybe we should talk about that when you get there. Hope you have fun! It's great to read that so many people are watching the show on DVD now.

Dee, how far along are you?
