Re: Random JoA Stuff...

I'm sitting here with my friend who I made watch JoA... she likes "the college kid", but she doesn't remember "college kid's" name because he never wore clothes that were his.

We need to convert her

Oooh, that's sick.  She likes creepy jailbait-stalker-guy?  She definitely needs conversion.

"No, I just like the idea of that college kid *cough* Roger *cough* and Joan together.  Plus, I myself am quite interested in the older, more mature college guys..." wink -Dacota

She said, revealing her acerbic wit.

I had to tell her his name, because she doesn't even know.  She does think Grace is bi though, so we'll give her brownie points for that tongue

Well, maybe if coughRogercough wasn't such a greaseball Brendan Frasier wannabe with hefty pretensions I wouldn't find him so repulsive.  Man, your friend has *interesting* taste.  She' d probably like Clay Fisher too.

His Bredan Frasier-ness is apparently why she liked him.  We need an intervention!

Totally.  Let's nail her down and make her watch all the best A/J moments over and over until she gives.

She said she'll start crying and go watch The Mummy.  And apparently, if she watched all the Adam/Joan moments she'd get sick of them.  sad

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

The actor who played Roger was on another of my favorite shows: "Ed".  "Ed" was about a lawyer who owned a bowling alley.

So I've decided that, not only is Roger a creepy potential child molester, I'm also pretty sure he stole all those bowling shirts.:D

I think he's a pretty good actor, because I don't think I was supposed to like him.  And I didn't.

LOL!  I never connected the bowling shirt thing.  You're probably right about that.

It wasn't just a bowling shirt.  He also had a jacket and a cover-all shirt I think.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

I found my long lost DVDs.  They weren't buried under dirty clothes in my room after all, they were in my den.  I don't know why they were in there, but I have them back now. :dancing:

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!  Mine have never been shelved.  They live right behind me, where I sit at my computer, in my piles of stuff on my bookcase.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

Mine live in the bookshelf, in the part behind the glass doors in among all my other TV show DVDs. Not that there are that many, but I've collected a few, mostly given to me as presents.

Mine are usually stacked next to my TV, but I lent them to Dacota not long ago and never put them back.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

It's funny.  There are people I'd love to turn on to the show.  But there's no way in hell I'm loaning them MY DVDs.  I loan DVDs out all the time.  Not these.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

It's not so much that I worry about losing them.  It's that I never know when I'll be hit with the urge to watch something.  And by golly when I wanna see A/J, I'm gonna watch them.

Dacota was pretty good with them.  She got the first season back in two days and the second season in a day.

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

My JoA DVDs are my most treasured DVDs (Well, along with the Life On Mars ones now) and they are safely resting in this little cabinet of wook I once made at school in a wood working class (I don't know if that's the right word). Well, it's pretty small and since my DVD collection is growing and growing I think I soon have to buy a bigger shelf, but now that I am moving out soon I have already planned to buy a big book/DVD shelf. LOL

Re: Random JoA Stuff...

Obviously I'm the only one who doesn't treat the DVDs like my baby :embarrassed:  But, if I haven't misplaced them, they do have a spot of honor on my TV stand: right next to my Donnie Darko DVDs, and currently taking up the spot reserved for the theaterical version if I ever find it.   I don't know what I'll do with them if I ever get my hands on it.
