Actually, Laura, since Carol still doesn't have regular Internet access restored, YOU are in charge.

I'm sitting in our apartment right now, trying to cool off before I go take a walk around the neighborhood to check things out. TeeJay and Anne won't be here for another 3 or 4 hours. It's a really nice place. Walk across the street and there's the marina. We'll post pics at some point.

Well, I just met them here in Los Angeles. I'll let them tell you all about it, but I wanted to let you all know, they are as great in person as they are here online. Really nice people.

Thanks Rick! Our day was incredible. And it all started with meeting you. Right back at ya, you were terrific. We'll post more as soon as we can. Just got in from a nice meal with Mike Welch and his very sweet dynamo of a mom, Jill. To everyone who made this day possible, thanks for being so gracious! Can't wait to tell you guys about it all, but it's almost 2 AM and we've been going since very early this morning.

To tide you over, here's a couple of pics with Mike...

Sadly, while we did talk to Aaron for a while after the play, but he was sick and really wasn't up to going out with the gang. So it was just us, Mike & Jill. But it was a blast! The play is great! Mae Whitman was wonderful. We talked to her afterward too. She's such a sweetheart. I was a little bummed that I didn't get to talk to Dale Dickey. She's great. She was in one of my all time favorite movies, The Incredibly True Adventures Of Two Girls In Love.

We also talked to Kyle Newman for a few minutes after we saw Fanboys. Wish we'd had more time with him, but oh well. The important part was that we saw the movie. And guys, IT ROCKS! Chris is wonderful in it. And Dan Fogler just about stole the show. He was adorable. I really can't wait for all of you to see it!

We're up early tomorrow and on the road to San Francisco to see Amber perform at Litquake. Wish us all luck that we get to meet her.

Yeah, they were great pics. I didn't even notice the chest hair until the second time I looked. So weird seeing it on some guy I'm used to seeing as a young boy. Especially since my 28 year old common law huband doesn't have any! He's as hairy as an egg... Anyone know what the deal is with Chris?

I'm so amazed you the girls saw Fanboys already. Lucky girls indeed. I can't wait for it! The trailer looks so great.
