Hey, I've got an idea too! Since we already have black pantiliners for black undies, how about making a black incontinence sanitary pad that's called Yes Pee Can. (Okay, sorry, that was in bad taste.)

I'd try the ice cream, but I'm not so sure about the other thing ...

I really liked that song that John Williams wrote for this. Really beautiful.
You could tell he was so nervous when he was repeating the oath of office.

I don't normeally watch these kind of things, but i couldn't help but watch the inauguration. I wish the UK had an event like this.

Yeah, I noticed that, too.
Simon, this is also the first inauguration ceremony I ever watched. I never cared about it before. Germany doesn't have this kind of event either, I guess the "inauguration" of our chancellor (spelling) Is pretty boring. I don't watch this either. LOL

OK, here's the skinny on the musical piece: The first part is new, "Air" by John Williams, but it's combined with a new arrangement of an old Aaron Copeland piece from Appalachian Spring. I knew I recognized it. Big fan of Copeland...
It's called "Air and Simple Gifts," the centerpiece of which will be "an exuberant rendering," in Williams' words, of traditional Shaker hymn "The Gift to Be Simple," which Aaron Copland made famous in his 1944 ballet "Appalachian Spring."

Yeah, the John Williams part sounded sad. Joe said the same thing. But Copeland's music is always rousing. That part was great. And it was cool to see Itzak Perlman and Yo-Yo Ma on that stage together.

Lucky. I had to wake up at 5:30am to watch it. Well, I didn't have to, but I didn't want to miss something like this. Even if I did fall back asleep after his oath & speech.
