I think the best thing about them though is that they're all very human. They're cops, but they still let stuff get them. It's not like CSI or something when they rarely have emotional reactions.

And I just thought of a new plot device for our Chris fic. Nicole also knew him in high school, possibly had a crush on him, and is the first to have a "feeling" about him and what he's up to or done.

OK, I have a confession to make. I fell asleep in my chair ten minutes before the show ended and woke up in the middle of Jimmy Kimmel's monologue. It was like someone flipped a switch. One minute I was awake and enjoying the show, the next it was lights out. So I have no idea how it ended.

Can you help me out?

Marvin has a dummie named Marvin 2. Jason broke it. Eddie found the money, it was in a mail truck inside the bobble head box and the evidence seal wasn't broken. Leo got the crap beat out of him by the killer across the street, but fought him off and killed him (I think). Casey told Eddie she went to high school with Nicole and that they hated each other, but now she's cool. Brown came back and Eddie told him everything went smoothly and perfectly. Except for, you know, the bomb threat.

I like it, but it doesn't really go along what I've created in my head.

It's a little embarrassing the amount of thought I've put into the Chris story. Probably a bigger story than they'd ever give him on the show. In my head, he's a complete maniac but Casey's totally under his charm. Then Nicole digs up his file and there's some scary stuff in it, so she shows it to Jason but by then Casey's already in danger.

Maybe we should all write the fics separately then compare our ideas when it's all done

No problem, Laura. I don't really have much more of a story in mind for what I wrote, so it's probably just gonna trickle into nothingness if no one feels inclined to continue it. Which is totally fine. Can't wait to read what you've come up with, though!
