That does indeed sound interesting. I would give seeing Amber playing someone like this a try I guess. I guess I'll find out more as soon as I've seen the mini series. My brother gave me an amazon voucher for my birthday, this seems a great opportunity to buy it.

I think Johnny Depp will make a great Barnabas. And I think I kinda like the idea of Jackie Earl Haley as Willie Loomis too. This could be a really fun flick.

OK ya'll, there's something seriously wrong with me. I was pretty annoyed by the news that they were remaking Arthur. It's one of my all-time favorite movies. I was sick when they chose Russell Brand for the part. Can't stand him. But I just saw some clips from it and I am stunned to say it actually looks funny. This is one of those knock-me-over-with-a-feather moments.

They showed a trailer when I watched Harry Potter 7.2 tonight. Can't say it really spoke to me. But then, I've not seen any of the previous Apes movies...

I've been an Apeophile since childhood. And Conquest of The Planet of The Apes is my favorite of the original films. This movie is essentially a re-imagining of that one, so that's why I'm so interested. It's very, very different. And I like that. It also looks like it's going to (mercifully) erase the rather wretched Tim Burton re-boot attempt from our tortured memories.
