Well, I have hope now they're gonna finish it some time. We just have to be patient. Fox is still hoping for an August 2007 release. If that happens, we'll be able to see the movie by the end of the year or beginning of next year, Anne. That'd be so cool. I'm hopeful it's gonna happen, so I'm crossing fingers now, and will keep doing that until we hear positive news.

Well, I have no idea what will be in 2008. I hope I will have a job then, so maybe there is a chance to see that movie then. Otherwise I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD.

Guys, guys, guys, this is just a temporary set-back. Please don't talk like we might or might not get to see the movie. It will get finished! They just have to find a new location and then everyone will be back to work.

I'm hoping Kyle will choose to go back to New Mexico. Then maybe Sean can show up onset in his Fanboys t-shirt and worm his way in as an extra. Or maybe we could hire him as a special correspondent for the website. And we can get the rest of our questions for Chris, Kyle and Adam answered.

Nerds Make Early Exit From Atlanta

Looks like Hollywood's latest batch of nerds might have to seek their revenge somewhere besides Atlanta.

"The Revenge of the Nerds," a $13 million to $15 million remake of the 1984 college fraternity comedy, has shut down production in Atlanta after being unable to gain access to the Emory University campus for filming.

The film's actors, director and Los Angeles-based crew members were in the process today of exiting the Georgia capital after filming began here Oct. 9. "Nerds," which is being made by 20th Century Fox's new Fox Atomic division, had expected to be in Atlanta through November.

The young-adult cast of the film, which is expected to have an R rating, includes Efren Ramirez (from "Napoleon Dynamite"), Chris Marquette (from TV's "Pasadena" and "Joan of Arcadia") and Kristin Cavallari (from MTV's "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County").

Filming had been done at Agnes Scott College, the Georgia Capitol and other locations. Studio executives said Emory's size was important and without approval to shoot there the production might need to look elsewhere in order to complete the film.

"For landscape and extras and outdoor scenes, Emory was necessary," said Fox spokesperson Isabel White.

She said there was an original verbal agreement with Emory to film at the school, but that ultimately the private university decided not to allow filming there.

Emory officials were unavailable for comment by press time.

White said production on "Nerds" was shut down several days ago and time was spent trying to work out issues. The studio expects to complete the film at some location and is still planning a late summer release.

Yeah, and it's kinda weird that he didn't mention any of Chris's movies, like Girl next Door or at least Just Friends. He only mentioned TV stuff.

That's because he apparently doesn't know how to do his research. If he had to mention TV work, I wish he had said, "Joan Of Arcadia" and "Strong Medicine". I hate when they mention Pasadena because it's such a crap show, only lasted a few weeks before it was cancelled and his role was very insignificant. Mentioning it proves two things: 1) this guy has no clue who Chris is & 2) he never saw Pasadena.

Anne, you should post a comment after the article at ajc.com. I did it after the last article failed to mention Chris at all and it looks like that worked to a degree. At least Butthead Bob mentioned our boy this time, even if he still didn't get things quite right.

I actually thought the same! I was like, hey, why did he mention Pasadena, does anybody even know that show? I mean, I remember last year that it was on TV here and when I heard that Chris was in it, I watched one episode, but it was so crappy that I stopped. I don't have to watch it just because of Chris. He isn't even in every episode and, to be honest, I disliked his character. (Hey, no offense! )
Yeah, you're right, he should at least have mentioned Strong Medicine. This guy has indeed no idea who Chris is. Which is sad, because if he would know, he would be aware that exeptional talent Chris has.

Oh, and Tina's package arrived here today! Can I just say that I was VERY exited about that? LOL Finally my autograph is here. It's now framed in an all-new frame and is waiting to be hung tomorrow. The package also included the Dorquette shirt (Wow!), the Fanboys Shirt (WOW!!!), the Fanboys calendar (that would be the Double-WOW!!!LOL) and two of those stickers from Sean.

That is a weird outfit! He kinda looks like a farmer out of those 17th century movies. Actually, he reminds me of those guys who always steer the horse carriages through the Yorkshire moors. Wish we could see more of it. Oh well.....

There's a rumor on IMDb today that they may restart production at University Of Georgia in Athens. Supposedly, Efren Ramirez was in a Best Buy this weekend and he said they were trying to make that happen. Of course this conflicts with what Variety said, that the cast and crew went back to California last week. Man, if this turned out to be true, how friggin' awesome would that be? Chris would be on the same campus where Nick is coming to show Alpha Dog in about 10 days!
