I received both files, but I have been to tired to read lately. I'll read the new stuff during the weekend, I promise. I can't wait to read about the wedding!

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

I uploaded a new chapter to the graphically enhanced version today. Chapter 6 is now up.

Here's the banner I made for Chapter 6:

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

The deleted scene from "Reclamation", right?  (Maybe not deleted, but the part after Adam drove Jamal home.)  Or possibly the chapter after "Break the Night With Color", I've forgotten the title for the moment. :embarrassed:

EDIT:  "Color the Night With Love", I think.  Is that right?

Well, does he paint her in one of the chapters? (And no, I don't mean any procedures in deleted scenes! wink )

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

We already have a banner for Break The Night, so yeah, it could go with Color The Night.  Kind of.  Or even Out On A Limb since he works on a painting of her.

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

I just stumbled across something that I'd like to show you. I guess it's kinda like what a storyboard is for a movie. Because when we were planning and writing the chapter Reclamation, we talked about what the new back garden and the mural would look like. This is what we came up with:

The back garden:
Backgarden.jpg

Though, somehow, as I look at this, the door of the shed isn't placed right, is it? Wasn't there a window to the right of the door? The shed might have changed around as the show progressed too. But I'm thinking of episode 2x20 where Joan brings Adam her "stuff" back. When she leaves, there is a window next to the door.

A rough sketch of what the mural could be like:

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

Looks great although I had to check what's a mural in German and I don't really get what a garden box is. Is that what we call "Beet" in German?

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

Yeah, I'd say a garden box is like a abgetrenntes Beet. I'd imagine kinda like this:

And a mural is what Jamal airbrushed onto the side of Adam's shed. Not sure what the German word is. Wandgemälde?

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

I checked mural on LEO and it said Wandgemälde. Didn't I post this? And thanks for explaining the garden box, I was pretty sure it's a beet, but you can never know.

Re: Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies

Drumroll, please...

Here it is, the long-awaited honeymoon chapter of Butterlies --- PG Version...

Chapter 28
Sunny Honeymoon

by Sisterdebmac & Carol

Deb's Author's Note:
Thanks heavens for Carol. She has been such a blessing. She almost single-handedly saved the wedding chapter and her contributions to this chapter have also been amazing.  You rock!

Carol's Author's Note:
Thanks to both Deb and TeeJay for allowing me to take another visit inside "Butterflies".  It is more fun than I can ever say.  I'm so in love with these characters that I'm forever grateful to these two wonderful writers for continuing to pour new life into them.  I've never written in such a collaborative atmosphere before.  You're the best!

Synopsis:
Adam and Joan go to Hotel Cabo San Lucas for their honeymoon.

Rating:
PG

Genre:
Total Fluff. After everything they've been through these two deserve an angst-free honeymoon, no?

Disclaimer:
They're not mine... blah blah blah. Barbara Hall... blah blah blah. CBS... blah blah blah.

--..__..--==--..__..--==--..__..--

Adam and Joan took a limo to the Hotel Wexler in downtown Baltimore.  They stayed the night and took the same limo to the airport the next day.  Then they flew to Cabo San Lucas.  It was beautiful there.  They saw lots of sights, took a boat trip, shopped, ate and had lots of fun.

The End

(for the real story, see Butterflies: The Unadulterated Version)
