Re: Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown

Guys, I think I might need to jump the schedule and post a new Linus pic to cheer myself up.  I mean today sucked!  We had the ROTN thing and also Lacey's in the hospital again and may not get to come home tonight.  I just feel very sad and I need something to make me feel a little better. So hang in there for yet another of my fave pics coming soon...

Re: Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown

This just makes me laugh.  And I really needed that after today.  Don't know if this silliness is part of the movie or just Chris goofin'.  And now that TeeJay and I have seen him goofin' onset, I'm really wondering.

Cool. LOL Yeah, that's one of the funniest pic of The 4000. big_smile I also wondered if it's part of the movie or "just Chris".

Re: Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown

I was looking at that pic again tonight and wondering where the diva is.  I was wondering that when we met him, too.  He's so not a diva.  He's a nut!  In the very best way.  He just seems kind of egoless and normal.  Maybe that's a put-on, I don't know.  But it sure seems like the truth of who he is.  I just felt really comfortable around him.  Like we were just hanging out with a particularly smart, warm, charming college drama student.

Re: Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown

That is a great pic for many different reasons. Chris is riding the 'Lirpa' like a pony, Ken is in the background sporting his infamous Captain Kirk Karate chop, Ernie "The Writer" Cline is on the ground after being roughed up by one of the Fanboys, My wife Jenna, (With the fanny pack), has a look of shock on her face, the guy in red next to Ken, is Shappy Seasholtz, who Seth Rogen's character is named after, and right behind Ken, you can see Sam Huntington's Stunt Butt Double!! We called him "The Stunt Butt".
Chris actually did this in the film during each take, but I don't think he was in camera-view at the time.
Good stuff!!!

Re: Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown

You know, when Jason Ritter (was it him?) called him a diva, I don't think he meant it in a sort of arrogant poser way. The way I can see how he meant it is that Chris maybe sometimes likes to do things that would attract attention, like goof around on the set. Or brag about to his actor colleagues that he has two girls sitting by the sidelines who run a website on him. smile That's the only thing I can see that makes sense because I don't see him at all as an arrogant poser. And I think Sean and Ken can assert to that, right?

Yeah, it is a great pic, Sean. Thanks for the explanation on the people in the background. I was wondering who they were (apart from Ken, whom I do recognize by now).

Re: Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown

OK, so he was doing that off-camera to antagonize the Trekkies?  He did that on ROTN too.  That was the first thing he did when he came onset in fact.  They were shooting the AB guys onstage shouting and leering at the nerds and they kept sending Chris in there to act silly and rile them up.  He danced around at them, did a few naughty pelvis thrusts, wiggled a half-eaten corndog around (yep, like that).  It was pretty damn funny.

I'll have to listen to that diva comment again.  I know it was a joke.  I just wonder why he chose that particular word.  In the same commentary Amber said people think he's really sweet because of Adam but he's not.  He's a potty mouth.  And then Jason says he's a diva?  I'm sure he may be a potty mouth.  Aren't we all?  But he IS really sweet and I certainly saw only what could be construed as anti-diva behavior.

Nice one, Anne. Just earlier today I was thinking how we might want to post another Fanboys pic here. But I think the frontal one would have been okay too. Guess we could post that one in a couple of weeks as a treat. smile

I think we need to adjust the countdown now. Release date is announced for April 20, 2007. So it's actually...

22 and a half weeks until Fanboys is released!

Re: Our tribute to Chris in Fanboys: The Fanboys Countdown

It's not that I'm happy about it, but if I really wanna fly out to the US to watch it, April suits me much better than February because of business trip plans. But April also sucks in a way because a) I will be in full hay fever mode in April (Deb, get that whine repellent, I'll be very whiny) and b) there is no chance I will be able to catch either The Invisible or Alpha Dog in the theater anymore in April. But, well, guess you can't have everything. Getting Fanboys would still be totally worth the trip, not to mention meeting you again, Deb.
