You talking about Baze or all of them? I think the only person who really came through in this ep was Ryan, and I don't even like him. Baze is an idiot, albeit a lovable one. I've never much liked Abby. I want Baze with Cate, but since that's not gonna seem to happen, I want him with a decent girl he appreciates for what she is, and who does the same thing for him. Deep down, he's a good guy, but he's also still this big baby. Grow up, man! You're over 30, act like it!

Yeah, I was talking about Baze being stupid enough to try to use "feelings for Cate" as a way to break up with Abby. And of course Cate had to walk in right in time to hear it. The writing on the show is a little lazy plot-wise because it RELIES on the stupidity of these characters to create conflict. And you know how much hate manufactured conflict. It's like how in bad horror movies, the scares rely on the characters doing stupid stuff like splitting up, or running down dark alleys in high heels. If I didn't really like the characters, I would've gotten fed up with this show a long time ago.

Yeah, I know what you mean. What kinda irked me in the ep this week (and it's just a tiny thing no one else might have noticed) is that they took the head rests out of the car in the scene at the end. Of course I know they did it so that they'd have more room to shoot inside the car and so that they could film Lux in the back seat, but it still irked me because it just seemed so obviously fake. No one in their right mind these days drives in their car without head rests!

Actually, one of my friend's cars has no headrests. Its for the same reason, she's a film major too and I was on her crew for one of her shorts, we pulled them out so we could film in her car. We couldn't figure out how to put them back. Of course, you could argue that, as film majors, we really aren't in our right minds.

I haven't seen the last two epis, so I'm staying out of this conversation until probably tonight (or tomorrow, or Saturday, or next week...) when I finally get around to watch them. Just had to toss that in.

I never notice stuff like that. I'm always primarily focused on the actors' faces and body language. In anything I watch. What can I say? It's the people that fascinate me in film & TV.

Can these characters screw up even more? Seriously, what is Baze trying to accomplish? However, I'm kinda glad that it ended the way it ended. As much as I'd love to see Cate and Baze together, he's just not the right guy for her. It could never work. I'm curious to see how this is going to pan out next season. There is going to be a next season, right?

Also, uhm, Kristoffer? You need to cut your hair. What is it with men letting their hair grow out lately and it looking stupid?

And, what do you know? He once guest starred on Roswell, so it looks like Shiri and him have worked together before. Or at the very least met on set. I can't remember who he played, though. I'll probably notice him when I rewatch the show on DVD. You know, eventually... Apparently he was also on Without a Trace, which I don't recall either.

I haven't heard anything, but I'm betting there will be another season, because they advertised the ep very heavily as the SEASON finale. Doesn't mean a decision has been made yet. But it defnitely means there's a chance.
