He wasn't. But they used his voice. I think it was just edited dialogue from his first ep though. It was over the phone. Kimmy was talking to Silas/Mike and Trip yells, "What's up, faggot?" and laughs. That was it. May be the last we hear of him, may not be. Spoilers indicated that Silas was going to break away from the family and go to college by the end of the season. We'll see...
