It'll probably take us five seconds to learn.  Because I'm sure the dead that aren't dead are gonna kill dozens of random people in the next two minutes and fifty-five seconds.

I found it.  I gotta say the title is very thought-provoking.  What day weren't the dead actually dead? tongue

Grace is Adam's best man (right?).   I'm sure she can dance with Brody or Henry though... but Henry might be a bit grabby with her...

Am I the only one here who saw a thing between Grace and Joan early on?  I guess so...

I don't know if you'll feel that way any more, Deb.  I posted the first one, and it's heavy Bonnie backstory.

Will's lazy eye? What are you talking about? I must have missed something. Does Joe Mantegna have a problem with his eye?

I'm not sure which eye it is, but he always looks like he's squinting.  One eye seems open and one closed... makes him look sorta lop-sided.

Next year.  Next year other shows get to come into spotlight and everyone will be like "huh?  what?  where's The Sopranos?  who the **** is Patrick Dempsey?!"

#3383 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 05:10

And Sopranos is the big winner... no shock there.

#3384 Re: Fan Fiction » Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies » 17 Sep 07 :: 04:59

Well, a dance with the best man is customary... it's also customary for the best man to kiss the bride, but I'm guessing that won't happen. wink

#3385 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 04:57

James Spader has a good point... who does vote for these things?

#3386 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 04:54

I hoped she would... with the exception of Tina Fey everyone who she was up against was kinda iffy.   And Tina Fey, I'm only judging by SNL I've never seen her show (I already forgot it's name)

#3387 Re: Fan Fiction » Joan of Arcadia - Butterflies » 17 Sep 07 :: 04:06

Hah!  I love it!   And, obviously Grace had a crush on Joan.

Wait a minute... slow dance or "act like you're on fire" dance?

#3388 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 03:47

I don't really notice it, but once I had to babysit while JoA was on (a little boy named Adam, ironically enough) and he kept asking me what was wrong with his eye.  I told him it's called a lazy eye... "well, if it's lazy he should close it and take a nap!"    Then I got my friend into JoA through DVDs and she had to fast foward through the scenes with Will because the eye bugged her.

#3389 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 03:40

I know!  And I forgot about The Eye... man that eye freaked me out on JoA.

#3390 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 03:38

I really don't care about her either, I've just never heard Tony's wife... usually it's the other way around.   I'm not big into sports, so I don't really know who either are.

#3391 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:51

X-Tina and Tony Bennet... there's a match made in music heaven

#3392 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:44

I loved her mom's face when she like "yeah, I don't have anything prepared because my mom told me I wouldn't win..."

LOL, Deb... Tony Parker's wife?

#3393 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:39

Yay!  Katherine Heigl!

#3394 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:28

Are we seriously the only two here watching this?

#3395 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:27

HAHAHA Katherine Heigl corrected the announcer on her last name!

#3396 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:25

Do you need a drool towel, Deb? wink

#3397 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:16

OMG!  I have to see that show!  *runs over to netflix*

#3398 Re: Square Eyes » 2007 Emmys » 17 Sep 07 :: 02:09

I saw that.  I was all confused because I knew Veronica Mars didn't get any noms... so being on Heros next season gets her a place in Emmy land.

#3399 Re: Fan Fiction » JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories » 16 Sep 07 :: 23:59

But I will probably miss the Adam/Carl stories.

I probably will too, actually.  They were fun to write.   Who knows, I might even sign up with them for fanfic100 or some other community if the owners ever decide to wake up.  Or, here's a crazy idea, I might even just randomly write stories about them!

#3400 Re: Fan Fiction » JoA: Adam & Adam/Joan stories » 16 Sep 07 :: 23:43

I think I may have officially lost my mind.  I still have 20 more stories left for fanfic100, but I signed up for the lover100 challenge.  I just couldn't wait to join up any longer.

The prompt table's posted in my fanfic journal.
