Hey guys!
While at the Celebration, I was interviewed on a show called "Gamehead" that airs on Spike TV. It's the #1 video game program and they recorded a majority of the show from C4.

Here's a link to the most recent episode. It is broken down into 4 segments.

Go to the "Full Episodes" link.
I'm at the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd segment, and then towards the end of the 3rd one(I think). I was just answering a few quick questions about Star Wars. I thought it was kinda cool that they put me on the show so I had to share it with you all! big_smile

That is crazy. I've actually watched a couple of movies alone or with one or two friends in a theater. It was actually a cool experience. Too bad they wouldn't let ya watch it.

I just now got around to watching this movie a few weeks ago. It was a trip, but had some cool visuals! and Tina, you're absolutely right....you love to hate the "Bad Guy" in this movie!!

#406 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 04 Jun 07 :: 07:55

I finally got a chance to watch the behind the scenes reel. That was awesome!!
I actually saw myself in a couple of shots....after scanning and pausing it at just the right moment, haha. big_smile
Good stuff. Can't wait to see more.

That'd be cool. I was curious about the caption underneath my pic when you click on it. Something about fans taking pictures?

Right on, nice find!

Good to know that there will be several scenes in the works.

I came across something kinda cool. I'm on a German website(Far right):

I wanted to post a couple of pics here real quick. I decided to sit closer to one of the Big Screens that were on the side , as opposed to sitting right in front of the stage since I wanted a good view of the footage they had to show. Here's a few of the ones I took:

They're not the greatest but I still had to share. When I get home tonight, I will try and get some pics up of the comic book. See ya soon!

On a quick break at work and wanted to say...
Kyle said he wanted to add a few extra "Hilarious" things to the film. He didn't specifically say how many scenes would be shot, but I agree with Deb, there's gotta be more than just one.

Oh, and we've already talked about it and agreed, and they confirmed it as well, it will be rated PG-13 for sure. smile

#416 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 27 May 07 :: 15:18

Wow...the Scott Mosier thing really got you guys going, lol.

Hello everyone!! I have access to a laptop for a few minutes and wanted to post  couple of things real quick.

Scott Mosier AKA Snowball (For those of you who have seen Clerks big_smile) is not taking over director duties from Kyle. He was just helping out on Kevin Smith's cameo scene. If you've ever had a chance to watch a commentary track or behind the scenes features on an of Smith's DVDs, you'll see that the 2 guys are practically joined at the hip. So there's no cover-up or conspiracy. Thank goodness for that!

C4 is going great and I'm bummed that there is only one day left before I come back home. It's been pretty crowded here, but at the same time, I've been able to do ALMOST everything I have wanted to do. So with that being said, I have good news and bad news....:)

I was in costume friday morning , hanging out near the entance of the lobby, taking pictures with people, when Matt and Kyle walked up to me to say hello. I thought it was cool that they recognized me from my costume alone. I said Hello and they asked if I was going to the Fanboys presentation later on today. I said of course! so about an hour before the show, I went back to my car, changed out of my costume and jumped in line for the 45 minute Fanboys presentation . As I was about 20 people away from he entrance, they closed the doors and said the room was full!! :angry: They were showing it in a fairly small room and clearly did not anticipate such a large audience. It was good to see so many people that were excited about the movie, but I was pissed that I couldn't get in. I wasn't the only person either as there were some mild confrontations at the door between security and fans who were turned back. I stood around and just watched for a bit until the tension died down. So I walked away, as my day had truly been ruined, and I returned back to the hotel really depressed and upset that I couldn't see the presentation and that I was gonna let you guys all down.
  I knew there was going to be another panel the following day with Kyle and the cast and I was not going to miss that one. I showed up early(Sat morn) and made sure I was in line well before the show started. I ran into Linda(MaraJadeFan) who was also a fellow extra and she said that the 45 min presentation was pretty cool and it got a standing ovation. She said that the comic books were not given out because they weren't ready at the time, and there was no word on the teaser poster. She can definitely give you a better report of the 45 minutes shown. I was still upset that I had missed the 45 minutes, but I had a renewed hope that I could still see the poster and get a comic book. As we were walking in, I saw Sam and Jay talking away, so I went up to Sam and said hello. I was like, "You may not remember me, but.." and Sam was like"HEY! Yea! How's it going? Why aren't you in armor!?" lol. He headed off to the back stage area and I took a seat that would give me a good view of the big screen and the stage.
Well, I'm short on time and I will elaborate more later, but they showed about 6 different clips of the movie. Opening title scene/halloween party, Peyote scene w/ Danny Trejo, Planning to still the print at the Halloween party, running from the cops in the van(This one got the biggest response in my opinon, because of how the scene ends...I'll explain more later!), they showed them going into the prop room and running from security and going into the trash compactor.oh, and the guys playing video games and Linus and Sam's argument.

I gotta tell you, the scenes were funny. Even though I know the story and have read the script, I sat there getting goosebumps because I saw that this movie was finally happening plus there were little additions thrown in that weren't in the script tha were hilarious, and maybe it was just because I was in a room full of fellow Star Wars fans, but everyone was loving it. It was great.
Oh and I was able to get the comic books. I was only able to grab a few but I can at least show ya what they contained(It's a prequel story of them confronting some Trekkies, lol. 3 years b4 the fanboys movie takes place-it's where Linus and Sam have their last blow-out fight)
There was also a little promo ad which is where that teaser poster came from. Basically it's a contest to win a walk-on role during the re-shoot. They want you to submit a video showing why you are the ultimate fanboy and the winner gets to be in a scene when they all get together again to start filming. I'm not crazy about the teaser poster either, but the good thing is....it's just that, a teaser. smile
There's lots more to share...I wish I had more time!! But I will post more later!! Miss you guys and hope you all are doing okay!! Bye for now

Yea, "Hairlesswookiee" is my screen name over there and I had posted a few pics on the site after some shooting. I could've sworn I had included these pics on that disc I burnt for you guys, but maybe a few slipped through the cracks.

It does suck to have to wait, but I think it's cool that the studio is giving them more money to film some new scenes. smile

#421 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 17 May 07 :: 18:18

This just in from Kyle Newman.

"Fanboys has been delayed. As a Star Wars fan, I am devastated. Fanboys is the love letter to the greatest movie franchise of all time. And this year marks the 30th Anniversary. I wanted the film to be my gift back to Star Wars and to the fan community. But ultimately the shift in release will be a good thing for the movie. We made Fanboys for under five million dollars. And the studio has given us the go-ahead to do the things to it that we couldnt do with our initial limited schedule and budget. There are one or two hilarious things that I wanted to shoot and they are giving me the funds to do it. Which is great!!! As a filmmaker, it's not often someone says -- here's more money - what else do you want to do? But that's the situation we are in. Unfortunately, I dont get the actors back together for four months! (The one drawback to having such a hot young cast at the top of their game.) But rest assured fans won't escape Fanboys this year. We kick it off with our presence at Celebration IV in a big way (sneak-peaking scenes, releasing our prequel comic book and teaser poster)... then we will heat things up at the San Diego Comic-Con in July. And from there we just keep building toward January. I am so excited to unleash this movie. It's going to be huge!"

#422 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 12 May 07 :: 10:17

Well for what it's worth I'm sure it'll be addressed at C4 and I'll keep ya guys posted on what I hear!(if nothing has been said before then) I can't imagine why this is being pushed back again. This is the perfect movie for a summer release. What are they thinking? :witsend:
