#26 Re: Square Eyes » Which 2009/2010 movies are you most looking forward to? » 29 Jun 09 :: 06:19

I just got back from seeing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I liked it, but it was loooong. I'm so glad that we decided on the 8:30 show instead of the 10:20. Yikes!

I can't wait to see My Sister's Keeper. I read the book a while ago, so I was really excited to hear they were making a movie. Of course I will probably cry my eyes out, but we all need that every once in a while.

I also want to see Away We Go, if only for John Krasinski. I have been dying to see him do something good on the big screen ever since I became a fan of The Office. License to Wed? Really John? Ugh!

But man, that scene in the hospital at the end was so beautiful.  Especially the way they hold hands and the way he whispers "Jane" without even moving his lips, once he finally recognizes her.  Wow.

It really was beautiful. It's moments like those that give me butterflies and keep me watching.

I know exactly what you mean about Adam's reaction to Joan when she first gets home from Crazy Camp.  That boy is soooooooo in love.  And for her it's like, "yeah, that's nice, get off me."  I didn't like her very much until about, oh, the end of Out Of Sight.  I know she was going through some stuff, but I just don't understand anyone taking Adam for granted the way she does at first.

I know what you mean. She was dealing with some stuff, but he was so supportive and she was more interested in looking good to Judith. I really didn't like her at Judith's party. She was acting like a completely different person and didn't care about Adam's feelings at all.

I did read some of the recaps, and I'm going to check out the rest as soon as I have a chance smile

Don't you guys think The Swede was a total skeeve?  He even looked like he smelled bad.

Ha...I know!! He totally grossed me out. I have no idea what Julie saw in him.

Everyone goes a little crazy in S2, but they come back to themselves in S3.

This is true. I was SO happy with season 3 after everything that happened in season 2.

I made it through the first disc of the second season of JoA. I loved the episode with the cat. Larry the cat and Adam just had an understanding smile

Also, when Adam first sees Joan in the season premiere? The way he is so relieved when he finally gets to hug her? I am so in love with them as a couple (even though I know what ultimately happens sad).

So how much did you love it???

I REALLY loved it big_smile I'm hoping to start the second season soon, but I have family that is coming to visit, so it might be a few days...

I will like her again soon enough.

She gets better toward the end of the second season, and much better in the third. So at least there is something to look forward to smile

Matt & Julie are the definition of cute.  I adore him.  She bugs me sometimes, but ultimately I like her.  I just hated that crap with The Swede.  But Coach & Mrs. Coach are my favorite couple of all though.

Season 1 Matt and Julie were so adorable. The thing with the Swede was ridiculous and I wish the writers never went there, but I guess it is what it is. I agree about Eric and Tami. They are so real and I love that.

Also, I just finished season 1 of JoA smile

I LOVE Friday Night Lights!! Matt and Julie are one of my favorite TV couples, even though they had a bumpy ride for a while. It's so unfair that people who don't have DirecTV have to wait longer, but I'm also happy that the show is at least getting a chance. I was so worried that it wouldn't be renewed after season 2, but as we know, that always seems to happen to the good shows...

I am definitely planning on reading Butterflies. From what I have read here, it is a VERY good story smile

And so far you're shaking your head and thinking, no way Adam would EVER do the Very Bad Thing, right?

Yes! Even when I saw the episodes I thought the same thing, and I had only known Adam for like 2 episodes. It felt so wrong and WAY out of character.

I'm sorry you can't have the real Adam journey. But I'm sure you'll love him anyway.

I do still love him! It's really hard not to!

Indeed a bad way to start becoming a fan of JoA, but I do hope you're still gonna enjoy the heck out of it.

I am enjoying it very much smile It's like I want to keep going and see everything, but I want it to last longer. Two seasons are not enough :witsend:

Hello everyone! Thanks for the warm welcomes smile

But TeeJay, I think she saw the last few eps of JoA S2 that ran last week so she already knows about the Very Bad Thing.

Yes, unfortunately I saw the end before the beginning, so I do know about the Very Bad Thing. Trial and Error just about killed me, even though I didn't know much about the characters at that point. I am currently on dic 5 of season 1, and I am really enjoying it smile

Hello all! Let's see, where to begin... Well, I just recently got into Joan of Arcadia, (last week to be exact, when they were running season 2 episodes on SciFi) and I found this site after I posted over on the IMDb boards. I knew people that used to watch the show, but I just never got the opportunity to catch it when it was on TV. After seeing about 3 episodes on SciFi, I ordered both seasons, and I just started the first season.

I was a Chris fan before that though. The first time I really noticed him was in Strong Medicine. I started watching the show because my mom liked it, and I remember thinking how adorable he was. After that it was The Girl Next Door, and then Just Friends. He was hysterical opposite Ryan Reynolds, and it is one of my favorite comedies. I have also seen Freddy vs. Jason, Alpha Dog, The Invisible, and Graduation.

I look forward to spending some time here and getting to know you all. It is a great site. I LOVE the pictures!! big_smile
