Loved the ET joke.

On a side note; I've just shut my finger in a door and it was so painful. sad

Yeah it is that date. Just look at play.com and they have the same date listed.

#628 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 04 Dec 08 :: 23:38

Just received my end of school graduation cerficates from Dame Kelly Holmes tonight at the school's celebration evening. big_smile

#630 Re: Chris On Screen » Race To Witch Mountain » 03 Dec 08 :: 18:38

oooo I really like that poster. Looks very nice. I approve. smile

#631 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 02 Dec 08 :: 09:47

Hmmmm hmm Me personally, i would give it a 7 or maybe even an 8 out of 10. It's not perfect but it's the most fun i've had watching a movie this year. I guess it all depends on the individual watching and their tastes.

Plus, Amanda Seyfried is an added bonus. tongue

#632 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 01 Dec 08 :: 17:42

I went to the theater with my family, and me and my brother must have been the youngest in there. Everyone else other than my family must have been over 50. lol

Knowing the area i live in, i probably would get beaten for liking a musical. No jokes. Thank god, i only have a few friends in the area. tongue

#633 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 01 Dec 08 :: 09:47

I've already seen it 3 times. tongue Loved it since my first viewing of it. It's just one of those feel good movies, that cheers you up no matter what.

#634 Re: Square Eyes » Post your recent DVD purchases » 01 Dec 08 :: 01:13

Well i might as well have a go at this thread.

Bought these this week. Mamma Mia being the biggest selling DVD in the UK, so i just added to that tongue , and Spider-Man 3 was £4.99 new off Amazon, which i thought wasn't bad.

Why did you quit your job?

#636 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 30 Nov 08 :: 17:59

Thanks TeeJay. Whilst i'm hoping i'm more healthy tomorrow, part of me also hopes i'm not. Just means i might be able to get myself out of work for most of the day. tongue

#637 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 29 Nov 08 :: 15:40

I feel terrible today. I had a cold coming on to me last night, and i just knew that i was gonna wake up and feel horrible. sad

#638 Re: Chris On Screen » Race To Witch Mountain » 28 Nov 08 :: 02:08

I'll try and appear on that board a bit more Deb. I could do with going back on imdb. Haven't been on there in a while.

#639 Re: Square Eyes » Star Trek (2008 movie) » 26 Nov 08 :: 22:41

It's funny how i've never seen more than 1 full classic episode with Spock in, but i'm still super excited seeing the original Spock back.

and about the hand thing. I've been trying it a lot recently, and just can't do it. sad Which might be a good thing, considering my brother keeps calling me a Star Trek geek. neutral hmm

#640 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 25 Nov 08 :: 23:11

Just looked in the paper from yesterday (yes i'm a day late lol) and to my surprise, found that it has actually been snowing heavy in parts of the UK, and i didn't even know.

#641 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 25 Nov 08 :: 09:43

When i was at school, i don't think we ever got the day off because of snow. We did have it close early though, because it started flooding.

#642 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 24 Nov 08 :: 19:57

At the moment, because i walk to work, i like the snow (or at least what we have of it). Next year, when i take the train, as well as driving lessons, then i probably have a different opinion.

#643 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 24 Nov 08 :: 02:17

We hardly ever get snow like that here in the UK anymore.

Gosh, it's already nearly christmas. I don't know why, but i've still got half a year till i start University and i'm already nervous about it.

#644 Re: All About Chris » The Brothers Marquette » 19 Nov 08 :: 01:39

I've seen a pic of him before, but because i didn't know he was in it before i watched the film, i didn't recognise the young face when he appeared.

I don't know why, but that sentence just doesn't sound right to me. hmm

#645 Re: All About Chris » The Brothers Marquette » 19 Nov 08 :: 00:07

I never noticed him at first, but looking back i can now see the resemblence, plus he has a great little line.

"This tastes like shit! You got any scotch?"

#646 Re: All About Chris » The Brothers Marquette » 18 Nov 08 :: 23:09

Just watched Van Wilder and saw Sean Marquette on the cast list.

#647 Re: Square Eyes » Star Trek (2008 movie) » 18 Nov 08 :: 01:51

For someone who has never seen a Star Trek film before, that trailer looks amazing. Gets me more excited by the day, and it's nice to see Simon Pegg. The man is a comedic genius and a national treasure for us Brits.

#648 Re: Chris On Screen » Race To Witch Mountain » 18 Nov 08 :: 01:20

I've never thought about that before, but there is often a change in his hair in films.

#649 Re: Chris On Screen » Race To Witch Mountain » 17 Nov 08 :: 23:50

Thought it was. That's cool that you actually got a close up in the trailer.

#650 Re: Chris On Screen » Race To Witch Mountain » 17 Nov 08 :: 23:11

Isn't that Chris i can see at the beginning of the trailer.
