Yeah, my dad's from Temesburg. (Spelling?) He grew up there, but he's actually German. Can't explain it in English, sorry. But he often talks about Romania. LOL

PS: TeeJay's right, your English is indeed very good. Do they show JoA in English in Romania? In Germany every foreign TV show is dubbed into German. I hate that. I rather watch all my favorite TV shows in English. It's so much better and it's a great opportunity to improve my English skills.

#7277 Re: Joan of Arcadia » JoA season two on DVD » 03 Oct 06 :: 21:09

Wow, cool! It's definitely going to be fun to see this!!! Wow, I NEED that DVD Box!
And ... I found out what a table read is all alone! How cool is THAT? big_smile

#7278 Re: All About Chris » All you IMDb jerks out there » 03 Oct 06 :: 21:06

Yeah, Girl Next Door! You have to see this! And, well, Just Friends is a stupid movie, but Chris is just funny, because he has a great comedy gift.
I also still recommend The Tic Code and American Gun, my alltime favorite movies! wink

#7279 Re: Introduce Yourself » hi » 03 Oct 06 :: 20:29

Romania, wow. My dad's from there. Episode nine is ... St. Joan, right? Woooo, powerful stuff comes up in that episode!
And, did you enjoy Huff? It's the total opposite of JoA, right? But I love his performance ... it's cool to see his "dark side". LOL
And hey, you should definitely check out "The Tic Code" and "American Gun" if you'll have the chance to, this is great stuff, too. smile

#7280 Re: Joan of Arcadia » JoA season two on DVD » 03 Oct 06 :: 20:24

Yeah, please ask her. I wanna know what a Table Read is. It sounds kinda like the cast sitting on a table reading the script of the episode or something like that. LOL
And I doubt that there will be a T&E comment, but you're right, as long as Chris does *any* commentary, I'll be happy too. I just love listening to his voice. wink

And please stop talking about "maybe meeting him". I'd be soooo jealous!!! wink

#7281 Re: Joan of Arcadia » JoA season two on DVD » 03 Oct 06 :: 19:31

Just received an email from tvshowsondvd.com with a few more details on the Season 2 DVD Box bonus material. The mail included this list:

* Audio commentaries on select episodes
* "A Look At Season 2"
* The Making Of Queen Of The Zombies (Yay! This should be interesting!)
* A Tour Of Joan's High School
* "Common Thread: A Table Read"

Don't know what the last thing is supposed to be but it sounds interesting. I'm curious about the Making Of Thing as well. No word on who is doing the commentaries so far, but I still have a little hope for my Chris/Amber comment on Trial&Error.

#7282 Re: Fanart » Avatars » 03 Oct 06 :: 19:09

They're awesome!
I'll add some of my JoA avatars soon.

#7283 Re: All About Chris » All you IMDb jerks out there » 03 Oct 06 :: 18:16

Ah well, I don't really care about what these jerks say about Chris. It's just a great opportunity to practise my sarcastic English! lol

#7284 Re: Introduce Yourself » hi » 03 Oct 06 :: 18:14

A warm welcome from Germany!
Yeah, please tell us a little bit about you. Enjoy the boards.

Greetz, Samsy

You think he would show up at a party WE throw for him? wink
Ah, okay, that was a bad joke, sorry. big_smile But yeah, I think this party would definitely rock!

So, I am going to open this thread.
Here is something I made yesterday. It's just some 'Gag' and I could have done better, but I was tired yesterday. wink

This is what I think he would think if I was in Atlanta too ... big_smile

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHRIS!

PS: It's Bank Holiday in Germany today, but I don't really care. LOL There are more important reasons to celebrate that day. big_smile

I love those new AG screencaps, Tina!!! Now I can finally have a good quality avatar. That just makes me happy. big_smile

#7288 Re: Chris On Screen » Kyle Newman's Revenge of the Nerds (Remake) - CANCELED » 01 Oct 06 :: 10:52

Wow, cool! I am VERY jealous right now. big_smile

Wait, his best friend is going to be a "horn dog"? Ha ha, how funny. So, this time it's not him. Good. I mean, I love watching GND and I "love" watching Just Friends, but I don't want him to be known as just the guy who plays the horn dogs.

#7289 Re: All About Chris » Having fun with Chris's voice » 30 Sep 06 :: 21:44

These are friggin' HI-LA-RI-OUS! lol:lol::lol:

#7291 Re: The Bullhorn » A Brief History Of The Dorquettes » 25 Sep 06 :: 23:19

Oh my God, they are friggin' awesome! Good job, Tina! big_smile

Ok, I'm off now. I'll be traveling to Berlin tomorrow. I really need to sleep. wink

#7292 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 24 Sep 06 :: 10:52

Okay, that means our birthday present arrives five months late in Germany. But we can live with that, right, Tina? big_smile

#7293 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 23 Sep 06 :: 21:31

Okay, the news are now posted in German, too.

Jesus, these pictures make me wanna ruffle his hair again ... <sigh>

#7294 Re: All About Chris » Photoshoots (or the absence of them) » 23 Sep 06 :: 14:56

LOL, you're so funny! big_smile
May I join the group kiss? wink

Yeah, Sean's the best! Thanks for all the pics and videos again.
But yeah, I second what TeeJay said. I'd love to have new photoshoot or something. <sigh> big_smile
And it's a shame that there are so many pictures which don't make it to the net ... hey, here are some fans who wanna see them! wink

We could try to hook Bosco up to the TV and "tape" the Chris scenes on Bosco. That might just work because taping the whole ep would use too much hard drive space. That'd be totally cool.

Oh yeah, please try that. For me. wink

#7296 Re: Chris On Screen » The Invisible » 23 Sep 06 :: 14:48

LOL! Oh God, this is the first morning I didn't go online right after getting up and then that happens!
Girl, I second everything you said. big_smile

Love the hair. Love the voice. I will definitely watch the movie. I once would have had the chance to see the original,  but I didn't. I guess, the movie will be good, though. Please cross your fingers for ME that I will find a place near here where they show it English. I'm not going to watch the dubbed version.

I don't know how big his role is in the movie, but I guess it's not that big but also not too small. But still he's in the movie, so I'm going to see it. But yeah, the movie looks quite interesting, so I would probably watch it even without Chris, too.

And hey, no need to thank me. I know we needed this little input of "Fresh Chris". big_smile Finally we have something new to discuss, isn't that great? wink

Um ... short. BUT as far as I could see it: no facial hair. Thank God. big_smile

And indeed a late birthday present: January 26. Though it will not affect me personally in January, unless I'm miraculously on a business trip to the US then. Which isn't entirely impossible but highly unlikely. Still nice, though. Anne, can you post this in the News section on the website? Thanks.

Just posted it there. big_smile

Ok, it's not Fanboys and it's only two seconds, but at least he's ... visible. wink
Movie seems to come out definitely in January.
