So I just went and saw The Invention of Lying.. over all a very funny movie that I plan on getting once it come out on DVD.
I do admit though, the middle did drag out a bit and there may be a need for tissues a time or two, but all and all a very enjoyable romantic comedy

I just saw possibly the dumbest movie trailer I've ever seen... The new one for 2012. It's one long chase scene, first in a car then in a plane. John Cusack and family are trying to outrun a literal and linear apocalypse. Seriously, there is nothing in this trailer but a long, almost-dialog free chase scene with destruction hot on the protagonists' heels. I remember Siskel & Ebert declaring "outrunning the fireball" a movie cliche at least a couple of decades ago. Well, these days, the fireball can include rapidly encroaching ice or earthquake collapses that run in conveniently uniform patterns thanks to Roland Emerich. This trailer is so laughable because at no time do you ever fear Cusack's demise. It's just feels like a CGI demonstration.
LOL, I think I'm required to shamefully admit that I'm actually looking forward to seeing this movie.. LOL
What can I say? I can't resisit John Cusack and love watching things blow up.. lol

yeah.. a least this Con is less hten twicon was.. i paid 255 just for the ticket to that this past summer! Comic Con is only 100 and flights seem to be running between 250-280 round trip... so all and all not too bad

ok.. i did it.. i made it through those four chapters in one piece!

about the "blast park" is apparently gone I went and looked it up for myself and thought
I'd post it here for anyone else who is closing in on chapter 23

EDIT: hmm.. I'm about to start chapter 19.. and just got done reading all your little warnings and synopsis... and I admit.. I'm a little scared and am starting to wonder if I should wait till I get home to read this one... I have very sympathetic tear ducts and anything involving Adam's mom tends to set me off.. lol..
I have an hour left of shift... think I can cry my way through it and get rid the the red eyes before I go to the store this morning? lol There's nothing worse then walking around Walmart with red, teary eyes at 8am.. lol
