healthy vibes to you guys! Sorry your allergies are getting to you. Knock on wood I haven't gotten them yet, maybe because I suffered for months in December and January.
Finally spring break is here although I'm mainly packing to move at the end of the week. Oh well
This week is seriously dragging.... spring break get here faster!
I watched the british version with James MacEvoy and couldn't watch it. Even with James MacEvoy in it! But I hear the cast in the american version is good!
^ yes they were, at least they could describe what they wanted!
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
a student asked for 'mustache' today at lunch. I asked her to repeat again and she finally said the yellow packet and realized she meant mustard three minutes later a student asked for the white stuff for his carrots and after five minutes talking with him about what he meant we came to the conclusion he wanted ranch!
Glad we are doing food vocabulary cards for our students at lunch! That's ESL students for you!
holy crap that is a lot of familiar names! What's interesting is that about 6 of these or even less will actually make it through...
I agree Deb, I kind of posted it last minute! I actually forgot about the oscars until my hair stylist mentioned something about it Saturday! I wasn't sure if I'd be watching or not.
I just watched up until about 10:00pm. I agree it wasn't spectacular, but I thought MacFarlane did a good job though! I pretty much anticipated all the right winners, there weren't any big surprises.
I'm glad Jennifer got an award. I haven't seen Silver Linings Playbook yet, but I like her...
Enjoyed seeing the musical numbers! Off to bed, hope it continues to be good!
I enjoyed Seth's intro with Shatner! And so excited Christoph Waltz won another one for Django.
watching red carpet, enjoy seeing Daniel Ratcliffe and Joseph Gordon Levitt! Even with Harry Potter, Ratcliffe always seems down to earth in his interviews. I hope he'll have a successful career now that Harry Potter is done...

anyone going to watch the oscars tonight???? I might watch a little bit of it!
Deb- great pic of Chris! I love Anton Yelchin and some of the movies he's done recently so this will be exciting!

o geez, another work week. 60 school days left until the end of the school year. It's scary to think about!!
I agree about the sense of dread built from the characters...and interesting to note about the end of the world scenario. That movie stuck with me for a few weeks. I'd like to see it again but not for a while! With the Asteroid hitting Russia and the flyby last week it was coincidental that I watched Melancholia only a week before!
I saw Beautiful Creatures and really enjoyed it. I had no idea of the plot and or who was in it so I didn't have any expectations. I just wanted to get out of the apartment and that was about the only movie out I wanted to see today. It was really entertaining, great characters, a little melodramatic but not too bad. I'm curious to read the books now.
This is
Jessie Eisenberg, Emile Hirsch, and Diane Kruger join 'Midnight Sun
It will be nice to see them together again, but where's chris???? He should be in this!
It does. I know I shouldn't take her for every little thing but she had an upset tummy for a few days. She's much better today. I didn't feed her though until I got home so I could monitor the bathroom breaks better. Her personality seems to be back though!
Elinor had a stomacb bug, spent another $300.00 at the vet tonight But they said it's nothing too serious. better be safe than sorry. That's $500.00 this month with the ear infection....

Now I really want to go 8.(
Hot water first, and then just in the microwave for under a minute. If you have bath salts, especially lavender use that on the towels or hot rag in the shower and it will help release some tension too.
why do monday's feel like a whole week?
Deb - have you tried getting a neck and shoulder massage or going to the chiropractor? Yoga helps too with aches and pains. I use to work at a spa and really like to use massage, especially deep tissue and essential oils for aches and pains. I hear chiropractors are amazing but haven't had the need to go to one yet. I try (as finances allow) to get a neck and shoulder massage once every four months. Put some hot towels on the sore spots and see if that can relieve some tension, that's what the massage technicians always told me to do at the spa.
Stomach is better, attempted a yoga class and I actually think it was a good detoxifier for that, especially the head ache. Hoping tomorrow will be a good day as far as that goes.
Finished Melancholia and highly recommend it. Beautifully depressing film if that makes sense? But the first part is hard to watch for those that suffer with depression, but for some odd reason even with the ending in near it felt like they were surviving. Really interesting. Would l0ve to discuss it with someone. I'm the last in the family to watch it and everyone (now that's 9 people) liked it. So definately worth looking into, very slow and be assured of what you are getting into alone with the title 'Melancholia.' Don't watch it on a sunday night when your anxious like I did!
Yes Elinor does help me get up but she's so snuggly that I just want to keep petting her! My goal is to get back to my 5am routine so I can pay more attention to her and not feel rushed and dragging a** in the morning into work. Literally waking up at 6:08 and out the door at 6:25. Poor Elinor. She doesn't like it, neither do I. I got one of those SAD lights and the light wakes me up but I turn it off because it goes on 15 minutes before the alarm actually goes off. I should probably stop doing that!
Unfortunately I got a case of the stomach bug I think. I called in today. Thought i was getting better at around 8:00 but have severe aches right now. Keeping good thoughts to go in for Saturday school. I have a group of kiddos that really need my help & I've got a lot of work to do too...
Can't sleep, need sleep.
What do you guys do to help you get up in the mornings?
Wish I could go but tickets expensive! Checked into it last year. Suppose to be awesome. Glad its previewing there.... SXSW has gotten lots of notoriety over the years, maybe it will show at Dallas AFI Festival? Sometimes the same movies come to that one too...that would be awesome
