I used to watch it on German Television but I kind of lost track of the show because I watch too many other shows.

I wish it had a more compelling cast. That's the reality of it for me. Shows that require me to pay super-close attention in order to understand what the heck is going on need to have someone I love in them or I will lose interest pretty quickly. Sometimes even that doesn't work. I love Matthew Fox but I fell off the Lost bandwagon after three seasons. I get very annoyed with complex shows that just seem to go round and round in circles trying to avoid answering any big questions.

I'm just in season 1. i hear season 2 is spectacular so I'm looking forward to it. I understand what you mean about lost. It did kind of fizzle after season 3. I staid with it though.
