Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Yeah, I have a feeling it's gonna be real quiet over here for as long as you're gone, Deb. Hope the trip is gonna be halfway okay. I know the feeling of upcoming business trips that you're dreading. It'll be over eventually. Hang in there. And I'm sending heaps of good thoughts for Lacey.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

It seems that Alpha Dog is finally being glimpsed from New Zealand. I just saw a little segment on Nightline about "Justin Timberlake's new movie". It's lucky that I saw the ad otherwise I probably wouldn't have tuned in. Basically it was David Farrar (a prominent NZ critic and commentator) talking a bit about it, he didn't have much of to say interest and so focused on negative press and manipulating interviews to create humour in mocking the movie. Anyway, that doesn't surprise me.

He didn't say when it was opening in theatres, but a little research on the net and I believe that it opens on the 30th of August. Or at least that's what flicks.co.nz says. It's ages away, but at least it's a date.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

August 30? That's so funny. That used to be the German release date for The Invisible before they moved it forward. And that's an awfully long time, seeing how the movie was released in the US in January. Guess we're so lucky to have gotten it as early as March.

Fan-freakin-tastic, Anne!!!  Way to go.

As for me, so far the trip is boring as hell and these hot flashes are killing me!  Don't ever get old.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Check it out, our old MB at Melissa's site is still available online in a cached version:

http://p196.ezboard.com/fchristophermar … m11?page=2

If anybody wants to go back and read some of the comments from the early days of the Dorquettes, this is the place to do it.

I'm feeling all nostalgic now.  Sigh.  smile

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

I have actually checked the forum from time to time to see if anyone new might stumble across it, so I can direct possible new recruits to our forum if they end up on that long dead one by accident. LOL I think www.chris-marquette.net.tc is actually still the direct link to it. Since the forum wasn't an integral part of Melissa's site, EzBoard will probaby keep the forum for a while. I don't know how long it'd have to be silent before EzBoard kills it. Should we go back and save some of our conversations from there before it dies altogether?

You know, it's not a cached version. The forum still exists, you can still register and post there. You'd just have to find it.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Oh yeah, now I remember you saying that the board would stay up.  Wow.  We'll always have those old posts at our fingertips.  I need to go find that booty shot .gif you made.  I wanted to show it to Abbie but I couldn't find it.  We were joking around about Chris wiggling his booty in AD when he said that thing about "tube steak boogie".  She said he didn't have much booty to wiggle.  So I had to show her the Fanboys booty shot.  She said he has a ghetto booty.  Now that's a compliment for someone who used to have Keith's butt.  lol

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Chrissue of the day isn't so much a Chrissue as it more like a two-of-Chris's-co-starssue. Because I found this video where Chris Lowell and Kristen Bell interview each other (about Veronica Mars, I think) and it's just too funny. Have a look!

http://www.youtube.com/p.swf?video_id=i … 2bxzOCWnUr

We should come up with questions like that for Chris. "So, Chris, who of you guys do you think was the person most stared at by the girls during the Menudo strip scene in Fanboys?" tongue

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Oh yeah, I've seen that one before. I think my favorite question that Chris asks Kristen would have to be, "Many people are discussing their stance on the war in Iraq. How do you feel about my chest muscles?"

Lowell also made a documentary about traveling with his band Two Shots For Poe. I think they'll be released as web episodes soon. You can catch the trailer at their website, http://www.twoshots.tv/.

Ah, cool. I'll watch out for that. There's a video about the trip they took already out there, is this something different?

I'm not sure how long the trailer has been up. I've seen little clips of what they filmed on YouTube, but the trailer they posted on the website had a bunch of stuff I had never seen before.

For the record, I feel quite good about Lowell's chest muscles.  But I feel even better about his abs.  tongue

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Well, that's not the Chrissue of today, but it was the Chrissue of a few days before. I was zapping through the German TV programs and ended up on a channel where they showed some report about ... Bulgaria! It was some kind of holiday report, they showed the best places to go for vacation. I looked out for a green mountain, but I didn`t see one. wink

Today's Chrissue is: The company I am doing my internship right now was prining business cards for another company whose name was something with "Cooper". What a coincidence with my laptop! big_smile
