Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

The storyline with Faith and Margo was pretty memorable, though. Her diaphragm was caught on her ex-husband's private parts piercing. She was admitted with a "foreign object" attached to her. Which turned out to be her ex. LOL Margo played their daughter who didn't know about them having an affair. Or whatever you call sleeping with your ex-husband. And she butted in on the docs trying to separate them. It was really quite bizarre and actually also funny. smile

Oh, OK, yeah, of course I remember that.  Hey, I watch a hell of a lot more TV than you do and I don't always have instant recall of what I've seen.  Shoot me.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

To my defense I have to add that I saw the episode twice in two weeks, otherwise I might not have remembered too well myself. My brain doesn't have the long-term storage capacity for movie and/or TV show plots either unless I've seen something multiple times. I must be the world's best movie/TV show/novel plot forgetter in the world. Ask me about some of the movies I saw in the theater a year ago. I wouldn't even be able to recall the basic storyline unless the movie really impressed me.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Again, something unrelated, but it's still Chris-related. Lars sent me this today in an e-mail. Said he found it on a website "by accident" (I wonder what he was looking for??) and had to laugh when he saw it:

I think it's from "Up, Up And Away". And it is pretty funny. Little bratty Chris. "Moooom! I want ice cream. Moooom! I want ice cream NOW!"

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

This is kinda late to post, but I had a Chrissue yesterday.
I watched this Cold Case episode and it had Mageina Tovah (Glynis). I didn't know that she was on Cold Case and she looked kinda weird with short and curly hair. She played some drug-addicted crazy girl. So I watched the ep and, that's funny, they had that song "Collide" at the end, so there were two resemblances to JoA. smile

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Just like me wearing my Fanboys t-shirt for the very first time and it's the day that we get our first trailer. Those Fanboys t-shirts must be working some magic. Because without Deb's, we wouldn't have gotten that far on the set of ROTN. I need to send Sean his, I've just been incredibly busy lately.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Because of Alpha Dog, I can't concentrate on anything else but Chris.  I didn't pay much attention at all to Jericho tonight and I'm having a hard time focusing on Medium, even though it's really good.  hmm

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

I totally forgot to update the little Drool Towel thing that I wanted to add to the Who We Are page. Guess with me it's the other way round right now. I have so much other stuff going on that's not Chris-related that I can't even remember the basic things I wanted to do for the site. But don't worry, I'll do it this weekend, just like some other stuff we have lined up.

But it's great that AD seems to be this intense that you can't stop thinking about it. I certainly look forward to it more than ever now. And there was a new Medium last night, that's great. I need to download all the stuff from this week, I haven't downloaded anything since Saturday, I think. But I don't watch any shows that are shown on Mon and Tue, so all I need is the Sunday stuff and that from yesterday.

And if anything, I'm stuck on Fanboys and Kyle right now. Not the way I am on Chris, but that interview that I watched and transcribed the past two nights was just so damn cool. He's such a geek, but in a good way. I can see how Chris wanted to work with him again.

Now guess what I just caught on TV. LOL
Okay, this is the typical children adventure film. It has an a little exaggerated story which is just hilarious if you're older than 14 years. There's this woman who invented a program which is supposed to turn the children into environment protectors. Her evil friends find out that they could use the program to control the brains of all humans over the world and then there are a few kids who need to block them from making their plan come true.
Randy, that would be Chris's character, is one of these kids. He is friends with Scott, who is the member of a superhero family. His dad, his mom, his brother and sister, all of them have superpowers, just Scott is "normal". But in the end they learn that you don't have to have superpowers to be able to rescue your loved-ones. Or something like that.
Well, Chris had the usual high-pitched synchro voice, which I hated, but he shows his great comedy talent in a few scenes, which was really hilarious. He talks a lot there and he talks very fast, it was just funny, but I bet it's even more funny in English. So that's the reason why I would watch the film in English, too. The comedy talent has definitely been there before. LOL
Oh and in the scene from the pic he tries to imitate a woman who is trapped in a burning house. That's why he looks so whiny.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Rebound Day...

This was a pretty good day all in all.  Gotta crash now, but I wanted to say that today was a nice uplift from my crappy holiday weekend.  Today, I am richer these things...

1) The JoA S2 set

Via TeeJay.  I will replace the one she had shipped to my place for forwarding to Germany tomorrow because I had to open hers tonight, with her permission.

2) A new TeeJay-designed Fanboys t-shirt that rocks mah face.

3) The Miracles Complete Series.

4) A snuggly, blue fleece-covered hot water bottle, codename: Adam 3.

5) A Little Laminated Linus.  You can have one of your very own for, I dunno, TeeJay, how much scratch would you need to make one for anyone who wants one?

...did I forget anything?

Oh yeah, more yummy German chocolate...

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Oooh, I'm glad everything fell into place yesterday. It's no problem about exchanging the DVD set. Totally fine with me. Let me know how your first experience with Adam 3 was.

As to the Laminated Linus... As long as I can do that the way I did with yours, that hardly costs me anything. I still have some of the material that I used to make yours, but I don't know how well it works with bigger photos. If anyone has a certain wish as to what laminated Linus/Chris picture you want, I can look into that and let you know if it's doable. Any requests? smile

Did you try the choc, Deb? (Anne, I sent her some Dominosteine.) I think it's something typically German. Haven't seen that anywhere else in the world yet. And you usually only get it around Christmas time.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Deb mentioned she would like to have the pic of Chris standing barefoot next to the promo shot set as a little laminated picture. So I used some plastic sheet I still had in the drawer and some self-adhesive foil and made her a make-shift laminated Linus. I included that in the package to Deb that had the Fanboys shirt and the other stuff in it. That's what we're talking about. What pic would you like to have laminated, Anne?

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Ah, I see. Well, I'd like to have my fav Fanboys pic laminated. My mom even bought a laminate machine the other day. But I don't know if we have those sheets too. Probably not. Plus I printed the pic out for my time clock, but it turned out to be a little too small. Will have to do it a second time.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Adam 3 came in kinda handy last night in fact.  I was chilly.  I haven't tried the chocolate yet but it's right here on my desk.  Vince & Dale had a piece and they liked it.  I'll probably have a bite of it this afternoon.  My tummy's not doing so great the last couple of days.  I've only been eating enough to stay alive.
