Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

My Chrissue right now is that I can't find any pics on WI or Getty from any charity event that happened last night.  Maybe it's tonight.  Guess we'll see tomorrow.

Here's three pics Deb found yesterday of Chris as a kid.

1) from The Tic Code:

2) from Another World

3) from an unknown theater play, possibly A Midsummer Night's Dream:

Cool. I knew the second pic from somewhere ... (I guess from one of the older interviews which are still online), but I've never seen the other ones.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

This is more of a Justissue than a Chrissue, but every time I hear Justin Timberlake on the radio these days, I have to think about Alpha Dog. The funniest thing was that this morning they spoofed Justin's latest song, "What Goes Around" on my radio station (1Live). I can post the link for you, but it's in German, obviously:

http://www.einslive.de/magazin/comedy/2 … 070403.mp3

This is some guy called "Tony Mono", who's a record producer. And these little comedy pieces always start out that he says how he heard a song on the radio (this time Justin's) and then goes: "Tony says: There's has to be a better way!" And then they play his version of whatever song he chose to spoof.

Hilarious! lol
Here's a funny coincidence, my brother mentioned Justin Timberlake today, when we were talking about something. I can't remember what, but it involved music and cinema.

Something very cool happened today, but we can't quite share with you what. Not yet anyway. Hate to tease you like this. Just stay tuned, everyone, for brand-spanking news to hit the site, hopefully very soon. All I wanna say is: Thank you, whoever made the stars align and the (almost) impossible happen. Again. We've just been so blessed with what's happened since we opened the site, and it just keeps getting better and better.

I'm more like this: :dancing:

And, Sean, you know that without you this wouldn't have happened, right? No Fanboys pics, no t-shirt. No t-shirt, no awesomeness on the ROTN set. No awesomeness on the ROTN set, no meeting very important people. If E is what happened today, then you were our M and luck was our C and then it all got squared somehow. Gee, I'm talking in riddles. But can you blame me? wink

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

My Chrissue of the day is that I just fiddled a little with my cell phone and made myself a new cell phone wallpaper. Voilà:

CellPhone.jpg

Just love that Chris Lowell shot. And it says "Joan" because that's the profile I'm using. I've named all my profiles after JoA characters.

Yeah, I noticed that you like that shot. I like it too, I just don't like the cigarette, but I kinda can live with it. It's art. wink

No, not at the same time. I can only use one profile at a time. More like Friedman who can turn into Joan, Adam, Grace or Luke. wink

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

OK guys,

We can spill now that we have been in contact with Chris again.  He has given us some news for the site and there will be much more to come.  Due to his very busy schedule for, oh about the next 8-9 weeks, we will not be able to get another audio interview for you guys as we hoped.  HOWEVER, Chris has agreed to answer questions for us via email.  So we are working on a new batch to hit him with.

I've posted what he said about various things in the appropriate threads.

We should also be able to announce a brand new project for him in about a week.  He also confirms that he has a new publicist and that he'll be doing a lot of press for The Invisible in the next week, as well as some upcoming photo shoots.  He said he'll get us copies of those photos for the site.

And as for the site itself, he had this to say:

I really want to say that I love the site, i've visited it a few times and it's really wonderful.

Stay tuned for more.  It's all happening...  :dancing:

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

To quote Gwen Stefani: Whoohoo, yeehoo! smile

How cool is it that Chris got in touch with us and even says he loves the site. I feel so blessed! Thanks, Chris!!

We've been putting together quite a few questions for him, so I hope he can answer them for us some time. If anyone has anything they wanna ask him, please post them in the "Questions For Chris..." thread in the "All About Chris" section. Now is your chance to get an answer to anything you ever wanted to ask him.

And thanks for updating the board with some of the news Chris shared. Guess we should talk about what to put on the front page of the website. The announcement that he's gonna be at Tribeca should be worth a shout-out, don't you think?

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Okay, maybe we should add a quick word or two about how this happened. Last Thursday, we received an e-mail from Chris. No joke, it was really him, without a doubt. We replied and asked him a couple of more or less urgent questions and he got back to us again last night, answering all of them. That's the snippets that Deb has been posting last night. He also told us he will be working on a new movie this year and will share more information when we can. What he did say was "fun action comedy movie". Hmmmmm.... hmm

So, geez, who'd ever thought that he would get in touch with us. It's all pretty mind-blowing still. But I'm not complaining.

Check back for more news as it comes in, everyone.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

This is my Chrissue for 4/18:  I will barely get to be here with you guys during the week that Chris is supposed to be doing press for The Invisible.  I'll be away for 5 days because of a crappy trip to the middle of nowhere Iowa for training on a new program my company has bought.  But it really sucks copious amounts of butt because my ancient puppy dog, Lacey had to be rushed to the vet today when my friend Dave, who takes care of her during the day called me in a panic.  Seems that on top of her other age-related maladies, she now has a mild form of senior epilepsy.  Apparently, what happened today was she had a micro-seizure.  It scared Dave really bad.  I had an epileptic dog before Lacey so I'm very used to it.  What she has isn't anything like what McGee had.  She's fine right now, knock wood.  But It sucks beyond belief that I have to be away from her for five days when she's not doing so well.  Unfortunately, I can't get out of this trip.  Everyone who believes in such things, please send up a prayer for her, or throw some good energy or mojo our way.

I'll holler at ya'll as I can over the weekend if I'm able to borrow my boss's laptop.  If not, I'll really, really miss you guys.  Don't have too much fun without me!

Deb
