Shannon Lucio and Katherine Heigl had the most intense scene together tonight. Just awesome. I don't think Shannon will be around anymore though.

I just saw that episode yesterday. All the new season eps this week. Touching... In the last Shannon Lucio scene I recognized her and had to go double check on IMDB. She looked so different from Graduation. I don't think I've seen her in anything else.

Did you realize that the next episode is only gonna air in January 2010? Now I understand why they put Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year all into one episode. What kind of a stupid airing schedule is that? V 2009 is doing the same thing. Is it now the latest fashion to take two months breaks in the middle of the season?

OK, first of all, it's basically one month for Grey's. And nobody's watching TV during the holidays so they don't like to burn off their good shows. Also, they have to make sure they have great stuff for February sweeps. As for V, they shut down production for a whole month after making only 4 episodes, due to creative issues. They've already replaced their showrunner. So they're playing catch-up right now, trying to save the show. Don't be surprised if it implodes.

I've only seen the pilot of V so far, and to me it felt a little too much like The 4400. There were too many parallels. I'll probably keep watching, but I don't think it's gonna become my favorite show.

I don't see why people don't want to sit down in the evenings the three weeks prior to Christmas, though. I get it that they don't show anything on Thanksgiving and between and on Christmas and New Year's, but I, for one, don't like the fact that we're also missing out on things in between. It's so sad that these days everything is governed by money and profit and ratings and sweeps. It wasn't always like this, was it?

No, it wasn't. You're right. And I agree that it sucks that the money machine runs everything. Especially entertainment. Used to be they made special eps. Now, they just avoid the holidays.

That was his first episode. He's the new pediatric attending, since Arizona (Lord, what a name!) left last week. I don't know how long he'll last, though. His character seems like kind of a dink.
